Nothing on FOXnews yet...
CNN covering with a reporter on the phone.
Nothing further yet.

Guess it doesn't pay off to cave in to terrorists after all.
Terminal 4. Source of explosion unknown. CNN just left to another story pending further information...
YIKES!
Your link takes me to ccnn.com. I don't see anything on cnn.com about a bomb in Madrid.
A couple of thousand?
A strong explosion shakes Terminal 4 of the airport of Barajas
The Firemen of the City council of Madrid and the DYA of San Sebastián have received individual calls in which he alerted myself of the positioning of a device, that was going to explode to 9,00 in the parking of the new terminal of the Madrilenian airport of Barajas, the T-4. The device was placed in a van Renault Traffic. At least one person has been minor wound by the rarefaction wave, according to have informed to this newspaper police sources into Madrid.
The "jetway"?
If it's the Moes.....I thought Spain had learned thier lesson?
No reports of injuries or fatalities per MSNBC
Is anyone hurt?
my cable just went out...just as it was breaking!!
why spain? could it be eta?
Maybe the Basque Freedom Fighters...
They haven't, but they might wakeup now. Time for them to dig up El Cid!
Sounds like perhaps a bomb went off prematurely.
Translation: Somebody set a bomb to go off at 9:00 in a parking area and then called this reporter to issue a warning. One person was wounded.
"...then called this reporter to issue a warning."
More like a Basque MO, yes?
Madrid is 6 hrs ahead of the US East Coast, right? So 9AM would be 40 mins ago.
ETA bombs with warnings.
ETA usually calls in their bombing operations beforehand.
Hopefully just propane tank on luggage-car/hilo/bobcat/etc. going off, or something of that sort. Can happen if fire starts in vehicle.
eta usually calls before they set anything off
MADRID (Reuters) - An explosion was on Sunday reported in a parking lot at Madrid's Barajas airport, Spanish radio reported.
The explosion followed a telephone warning to authorities.
I couldn't be sure, but I doubt ETA.
ETA has its best friend in their new liberal President. (I forgot the idiots name) He's willing to give away the house without the slightest fight anyway..so why blow it up?
No, I bet this has something to do with those little Spanish celebrations, at which they burn Mohammed in efigy. (as if the muzzies need a reason)
I'm going out on a limb really, without knowing the facts. But predicting the muzzies had something to do with it seems like a safe bet.
CNNI - it was a car bomb.
CNNi: car bomb; extensive damage in parking garage. Glass trucutre destroyed. Warning call. In front of Terminal 4. No injuries but extensive bldg. damage.
Carbomb in front of Terminal 4 -- there was a warning phone call
CNN is covering it
"Guess it doesn't pay off to cave in to terrorists after all"
That was my first thought also.
Terminal 4: Iberia.
CNN TV is covering it, but nothing on the internet yet.
It's 9:49 am in Madrid now.
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
According to Wikipedia, terminal four is used by American Airlines, British Airways, and El Al.....
they are saying on cnn that there has been a cease fire with eta since last march...but the phone call warning is so typically eta
Explosion rocks Madrid airport
http://edition.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/12/30/madrid.blast/index.html
CNNi on the ground in Barcelona said iberia....
VIDEO ON CNNi OF HUSSEIN GOING TO THE GALLOWS.
Iraqi TV cut out right after they slipped the noose on.
L
isn't el al israeli???
perhaps it isn't eta
According to Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet relying on reports from Spanish ABC two persons injured, probably police officers. Prior warning from what was claimed to be ETA. Panic on the airport, people evacuated from the terminal out on the landing strips.
Regardless, those three airlines use the same terminal as Iberia.
Thank goodness no deaths.
i just watched it...he looked very calm to me
hey canadianlly...i'm canadian too...vancouver
Wonder how all them Shia and Sunni are getting along at the annual hajj get together?
CNN International is speculating ETA as warning call was made. It seems the police got the area evacuated. The BBC has just shown Saddam up to the second of execution. Apparently he yelled support for Palistinians at the end and he appeared to complain to the guards.
