at Grace Episcopal Church, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. "

His final service will be at the same church. There life is being lived backwards during these fews days, from California, to Washington to Michigan. I can't imagine how difficult this is for Betty.

My heart just broke for Richard Nixon.

Oh yes. Oh, Mo, I can't still see his face and slumped shoulders in my mind. He was a man totally grief stricken.

Lovely thoughts. Now the solemn procession to the Capitol. Fitting for a man who served so well. Now, the American people have the chance to pay their respects.

I pray for Betty to remember all the time she had with her beloved Gerald more than what she has lost. But yes, I know, the pain of loss is very sharp now. She is doing well, with God's help.

No....they were having singing and dancing...

Michael Jackson showed up and said a few words, his daughters spoke.

They sent him out in the style that suited him..and probably is just what he would have wished.

but afterward, it often doesn't take more than 10 toasts to the departed before the arguing commences.

We don't do arguing .. we always tell stories about the person, realtives and have a few laughs remember the fun we all had

I didn't even think to check the networks ...

Such is the ban on proud patriotism in this country.

Not one thing I have to say would be suitable for this thread, so I won't.
