They certainly were! Folks can say what they will, but like President Ford, VP Cheney is a true Gentleman!

I have been dreading January

I want so badly to stop smoking, but I am wondering if I CAN do it in January.

I think we'll have plenty of opportunity to compare and contrast over the next few years.

It's amazing to sit in your own home and watch history unfold before your eyes...

I've learned more from Chris Wallace and Dick Cheney about our government than I ever did from my Government class in high school!

I will try to be very respectful if/when the only President to be impeached goes to his (ahem) reward... outside of the Backroom, anyway. ;-)

MSNBC has either ignored Pres. Ford's death...or used him to make nasty remarks about Pres. Bush.

And, I noticed that Meet the Press tomorrow has none other than Bob Woodward as the guest!!

I remember the abortion brouhaha.

Quite a stir it caused. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong) In response to a question, Mrs.Ford said she would not turn away from her daughter if she had an abortion.

Quite a statement for those times. Mrs Ford was quite outspoken, she spoke her mind and not everyone agreed with her. But she remained true to herself.

I have been dreading January and know it has been in the back of everyone's minds. We will need each other on FR.

The next two years will be a rough ride for this country. Constant hearings and investigations in an attempt to bring down President Bush, I fear. FR WILL be an oasis in the midst of this coming storm.
