Who buys the creamer? If it wasn't you, I want them punished.

Coolness. Passed through Tyler over Christmas. I was kinda kidding on my previous response. I'll keep your post in mind when I can convince the wife-unit that we need more toys. I =do= wish I could afford a couple of .50s though :-)

With the current Congress and (God forbid) a Dem President, they could make it difficult for us to remain a well-regulated militia.

Don't forget to keep those police forms to report missing guns handy.

"Probably includes a few kitchen table dealers."

That would be my guess. I figure they deservedly lost their license.

What century do you live in? You're still using a .50 cal rifle? Here in TX I have a concealed carry license for a shoulder-fired missile launcher. Get with the program, friend.

Well, here in fantasyland USA, I have a Concealed Carry License for an M-1 Abrams tank! And my neighbor has one for a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier!

/off my meds

"It's out of control. There is no responsibility. There is no accountability. There is a problem in the neighborhoods in this country with the drastic proliferation of guns," said Joseph J. Vince Jr., former chief of ATF's firearms division

BS, BS, BS, and BS. Just the sort of incendiary fear-mongering crap one would expect from such an arrogant FedGov lapdog.

So Rudy is already Adolf Hilter, huh?

I'm still looking for any sign --any sign-- that gun control is being contemplated as a possible item on anyone's agenda. It just isn't there. Gun control is not going to be on the table for this election cycle, or the next administration (whoever it is).

There's nobody coming for our guns, and that's a good thing. Perhaps it would be better to frame the issues for this election on things that really ~are~ at stake instead of things that aren't.

Despite the increase, license revocations remain exceedingly rare and the number pales in comparison with the roughly 105,000 people and businesses nationwide permitted to sell firearms and ammunition.

That's approximately one gun dealer for each 2900 people.

I hope you're right but I'm not as confident as you. I believe gun control is still on the agenda. They've just learned to fly under the radar and use words like safety instead of control. You already have some national Police Chiefs organization calling for a reenactment of the '94 AW ban. And you can bet that the Brady Bunch and assorted other anti groups will expect a return on investment from the democrats they supported in November.

All you need is another high profile incident like Columbine and we're right back in the middle of it. And this time they won't be foolish enough to put a sunset clause in place. As such, I would prefer to have a presidential candidate that doesn't have a track record of supporting gun control like McCain or Rudy.

No problem in my neighborhood....being armed does not translate into a 'problem' unless people are misusing their arms.

If it appears to Mr. Vince Jr. that our having them is a "problem", I am really glad this guy no longer works for us.

Was he a Clinton appointee?
