When someone reports that God told him something this specific, It is usually a sign that he wants to promote his own personal opinion, and give it credibility (at least among the snake-handling zealots)by claiming that it came from God.
Far more appropriate. I will defer to your preference.
Let's just pray Robertson is wrong....again
Pat needs to retire.
Just wow.
Well Noah told some people...so...lol
unfortunately there are smaller versions of Pat too...my brother belongs to one of these doomsday born again groups...for the last 15 years they've been predicting the demise and rapture....coming to a theatre near you some time next year...oops...
#36 - LOL Thanks for a good laugh first thing in the morning!
uh-oh...please tell me He didn't say "nuculear" either..... sticking that extra vowel in there...I hate that.
I sort of have a soft spot for Pat, don't know why....however, calling these 'predictions' is too carny. And, I agree with the other posts: wouldn't true prophecy would be 100% spot on?...not "sometimes I miss". Crikey...any of us could do that.
Old folks with money to spend finding salvation is his target. He's no different than the rest of the fundamentalist cults seeking the almighty dollar with their phoney religiosity. We've got one of them here in UT. Sanctimonious phonies.
I used to watch some of these guys occasionally just to laugh at their blatant focus on getting peoples money. I soon got sick of their greed and the blasphemy involved. Robertson seemed to be sincere but a little misguided. You could tell that some of the others didn't believe a word they said.
don't forget moses, they laughed at him too.
That being said I belive pat is wrong , if it did happen one of my first thoughts would be of the people that roast him for saying it. If I wasn't one of the millions that is.
Names would be proper. Why hint, or beat around the bush?
The mainstream media spins this to the point where it makes the general public believe that all conservatives are just like Pat Robertson! This doesn't help when truly trying to get conservatism as well as trying to get capitalism to truly expand throughout the world.
I better send all my money to Pat, so when the sweet chariot swings low, I will get picked up.
If clowns like Robertson didn't insist that they speak for millions, it would be easier to dismiss them as the carnival hucksters they are.
My thoughts exactly! These predictions are not from God, they are from Pat Robertson. God is never wrong. Not that God doesn't use flawed individuals in His work, but my husband and I roll our eyes when we see news of his 'predictions' on TV.
Will there be a movie? Will Larry King star?
Shut up, Pat. You can make all the prognostications you want, but leave God out of it. Obviously, these are your guesses, because God really does know the future and wouldn't have made the Social Security blunder.
God must have been mumbling.
