Sheesh. makes me glad I'm in Pennsylvania where anybody 21 or older can walk into the sheriff's office and walk out fifteen minutes later with a concealed carry permit. You don't have to take any courses, you don't need to state any reason for wanting a CC permit other than self defense, and heck.... you can get a CC permit even if you don't own a gun!
You just need to have $24 and proof of residency, fill out a form listing "references" (three friends' names and addresses), check the boxes that you are not insane or drug dependent, and voila! - - you walk out with your permit. Oh, and you can't be a convicted criminal.
I know it's not Vermont or anything, but it's pretty easy.
I urge all Pennsylvania freepers to go get your concealed carry permit TOMORROW. Get one even if you don't own a gun or ever intend to carry a gun. The numbers tell the tale. Let wandering criminals choose other states to wander into, thank you.
