As always, soliciting FReeper comments, observations, and opinions.

Biden and Graham on MTP, once again. Can't Russert get any NEW talent out of the Senate? Why do we have to hear from these two week after week?

Meet the Press: Tim Russert's guests: Sens. Joe Biden, D-Del., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

Tim really needs to expand his circle of acquaintances.

[Raise your hand if you think either Joe Biden or Lindsey Graham will say anything you haven't heard them say for the last year or longer.]

Thanks, AB & Good Morning to EveryOne! Congrats to last weeks topsters!

In Russert's world, these are the "talented" like him. Because they are opposed to everything Bush.

Though McCain is absent, his proxies - Graham & Lott are there. But from now on, they SHOULD be VERY CAREFUL because 2008 primary just started & we will be watching them "carefully".

With a couple of exceptions, what a lineup of commies. I think I'll keep my breakfast in my stomach and read a book instead.

Looks like Pelosi-Palooza still continues. Fox reported that Major EmbarrassmentGarret got exclusive access to report the proceedings. So, he decided to avoid reporting some "interesting" moments that even liberal Dana Milbank couldn't avoid: Some of those escaped while Garret was cheerleading for the dems.

Worth reading in full.

Some bits about Robert Byrd, Ted Kennedy, Clinton (Bill) & ofcourse, Harry Reid. Did you know that when Reid spoke, there was no quorum (# of members present)? During Reid's speech, only 20 senators remained on the floor. When Reid started talking about the framers of the Constitution, Clinton left the room-- and most of the remaining spectators followed him. When he yielded the floor after 30 minutes, only three senators remained, and the half-dozen spectators lingering in the public gallery included Reid's wife.

Morning AB, All,

Warm as summer here in the swamps of Delaware.

Joe Biden...ah. Seems this fellow's been out and about and pontificating.

This coming week ladies and gems, Joseph Hairplugs Biden, his official name, will be in his glory. It will be as if he ascended into heaven, met 72 virgins and had on hand a fistful of Viagara.

For Biden, now head of some important committee, I forget, will commence the "hearings".

There will be, go with me here, TELEVISION CAMERAS all around.

Ahhh. Better than the 72 virgins per Biden's brain.

He will be in his glory and, of course, he will tell us all about it on MTP.

Nothing much new here except my beloved Belgian shepherd got attacked by a loose dog as I took her on her daily walk. This is the SECOND dog to attack her, all while she's on her leash and tethered with the harness and walkinig innocently upon a public street.

First one was a Pomeranian, I'm not making this up. Thing weighs about ten pounds. Last week it was a cocker spaniel. Both dogs bolted out of their yard and ran right up to my BIG Belgian Malinois...big, folks. She's a BIG dog! Big teeth!

She's not vicious, not at all. But go with me here, when a dog, ANY dog attacks her, well, hey, THEY DO NOT WIN.

The people with the cocker think I should pay for their dog's vet bill. Jo-Ann did a number on the cocker, folks. I got my hands tore up trying to break them up and precious granddaughter watched the whole thing, screaming in abject fear as Mom-Mom rolled around in a ditch trying to break up the two dogs.

Of course I am not paying their Vet bill and for God's sake, they OUGHT TO PAY MINE. Jo-Ann DID get a bite, just a small one as the cocker had but one shot at the big dog and after that, the cocker was Jo-Ann's to destroy. But the cocker's bite was significant. The cocker attacked her underbelly as these things go with a small dog going after a big one. The cocker got some kind of vein and it bled profusely. My Vet had to put her up on the table rightaway and stitch her with no anesthetic.

THOSE idiots called the SPCA (I did not because hey, two dogs got in a fight, their dog was loose, I did nothing wrong). The SPCA guy got here, he talked to us, he told me he could talk to me all day because hey, I can talk now. Jo-Ann was a big puppy when he asked to see her.

I asked him "Just what is Jo-Ann supposed to do when a dog attacks her? She should just sit down and take it?"

Hey folks, we do live in a la-la liberal hell anymore and such as common sense self-defense seems to have gone out the window.

So yesterday the cocker's owners stop me as I was on the road and ask if we can settle this Vet bill. Translation, will you give us money for OUR Vet bill? I'm perfectly serious here, folks, this is the kind of stupid America we live in now. No one has a single shred of common sense anymore.

I was nice about it and these folks, their dogs are always running loose.

Oh and did I tell you about the butcher knife?

Let me stop and gather my wits. Between Biden and the Cocker...well what's the difference, really?

Morning MM.
I know you will enjoy this one if you haven't
already seen it.
Victor David Hanson is one of my favorites.
He just did a piece on creating a new political system on the ground in Iraq vs. old style carpet bombing. It's an excellent piece. Hope every take the time to peruse it.
