Oh, I'm sure she's a huge Lib. You just have to see who her friends are and she had a "pied a terre" in France Despite that, I like her show. There's something very comforting about it.
I also heard Biden say, and I paraphrase, that the ONLY way to win this war is to negotiate with Iran and Syria.
I must pray that this guy is never elected President.
Horowitz has been excellent on this issue...and he knows whereof he speaks.
Lieberman...says it is ridiculous to use resource limits to impose POLICY choices.,....if we need them ...then get them....

I'm glad they're saying it-- I just wonder how much McCain is doing it to win the GOP base back. I would trust Lieberman more, and I don't trust him either.
Boxer on Blitz says she wants a vote on whether to surge troops.
Hey Box, you don't get a vote unless you run for Prez and win. Otherwise shut up. The vote that counts right now belongs to GWB.

Boxer wants a vote on whether to "escalate" in Iraq. She has been told to use the word "escalate" and only nearly slipped up once, saying "surge" and then correcting herself.
Lott slips into cliches..."We need to support our troops, blah, blah."
I've basically stopped watching the news. It isn't really even "news" anymore.
You know where I've started hearing the most in-depth and balanced newscasts? On the Chinese English service short-wave radio. They give you dozens of stories from the US and around the world, and they're really quite balanced in the presentation.

Okay, here is the dem plan. They will agree to fund just enough money to support the troops that are in Iraq, They will attempt to choke off any funding for more.
Does anyone else notice that the Generals the Democrats always quote are the ones who think "more troops not needed".
These nuts were all for Patreus until Casey said maybe no more troops, now they're against Patreus for possibly wanting more troops and have begun quoting Casey.

Boxer wants the Congress to have to VOTE on any new moves in Iraq...she says Warner wants to...
Now, Lott is trying NOT to agree with Boxer, but just did agree.
Boxer just invoked Warner's name again, saying there should be a "pause" before they send in more troops and try something new!!
DIDN'T they just run on a platform of needing a new strategy??
Now that Pres. Bush is going to give one...she is saying we have to PAUSE...

Great photos. I too love labs, but we have two small house dogs.
Yeah, yeah, I read somewhere upthread, "Get a real dog". Such language has caused me to NOT let either of our small dogs read over my shoulder today.
They would be heartbroken!
