You got that right. The only time we're safe is when the congress is not in session.

I thought the corruption thing would be the first thing they break, but hey; thats what "the first 100 hours" is for.

Meet the new Boss-Same as the Old Boss.....

Yeah, sure.

We'll see if you think it's the same as the "old boss" when they raise your taxes and roll back all the conservatives laws enacted in the last six years.

LOL, Amen. During the government shutdown back in the Slick Willy admin, everyone said they'd never have noticed had they not read it in a paper.

I heard that Reid asked them to work a full week too and they all started walking out, with Kennedy in the lead! Too bad we have no control at all over their salaries and benefits or many of them would have been out of there years ago and back to "real jobs".

Also heard that the dems have regneged on installing ALL the 9/11 Commission recommendations.

They're dems why should they keep their campaign promises.

IMO, the less they do, the better of we'll be so let them stay home and contemplate their navels for all I care.

Actually, I think the American people would be even better served if they adopted a 0-day work week.

I know that "District Work Period" means vacation. Check out the month of August.

... of which the MSM made it sound like the Hindenburg disaster

The national championship game is all day? And helping the down-trodden, overburdened, picked-on-by-Republicans "little guy" more important than a sporting event? Guess not, according to the Rats.

Just saying that reporting this makes us look desperate. I reserved this vacation day 4 months ago, as did a few others. The guys at my company that waited until too late envy me. Reporting this as a "broken promise" doesn't connect with most heterosexual males, since we're all doing the same thing. :/

Write this down the first of many.

Wait just a bit as I'm sure it'll change. 6:30Pm is not fair. They're already complaining that that will mean working Monday eve after a hard day of travel and commuter traffic. The suggestion is 10am Tuesday to 10am Friday so that many can get back to their districts before rush hour.

Anyone want to bet the Republicans hold them accountable on this and the other promises the dims made? They will get a pass by the MSM and more importantly the Republicans!
