I hope Steny and Pelosi cannibalize each other, with Rahm Emmanuel cheering both of them on...let the Clintonization of the Democrat party continue to destroy them.

And I also hope there will be a reasonable, attractive, conservative Republican leadership to take their place.

I could be wrong, but isn't it a night game? I plan to work tomorwow and then watch the game tomorrow night. I must be nuts. I should be getting a day off to watch a college football game! To hell with all of them...RATs and GOPers alike....

For most Mondays, this message appears: "Votes postponed until 6:30 P.M. What does that mean?

It means that Monday is Dems face time and their agenda will be set for the week...others need not reply.

Their actual 5 day work week starts at 6:30 P.M. and lasts until 2:00 P.M. on Fri...unless it's late or there is a football game.

Kewl ... when the first 100 hours is over, Karl will already have his campaign spot script for '08. May the RATs continue to overreach.

Questions for Freepers:
  1. "Can we outsource Congress?"
  2. "What's a good place to put them?" (Now, now ... i.e., Southwest Asia (closer to the action they discuss) or India or Antartic maybe)
  3. "Does that me we can lower their saleries?" (Since cost-of-living and such is less)
  4. "Can we setup toll-free lines to contact them?" (one actually, just for that possible occassion we need to call)
  5. "Can the outsourcing include maybe bi-annual sessions of 30-60 days instead of being in session almost all year long?" (minus breaks, junkets, campaigning and other such 'necessities')
  6. "Can the bureaucracy be sustained without Congress in close proximity?"

Hopefully the study will not cost to much. Junkets should be less as well as cost-of-living and utility costs. Possible staffs would be lesss, if not since saleries are lower maybe ... well.

[sarcasm off]

I know that "District Work Period" means vacation. Check out the month of August.

Same thing as "Optional teacher workday."
