Don't forget "Kids".
That derogatory term is used by the left every day. It's a mandated sound bite.
The next time Charlie Rangle refers to a fallen hero as a "kid" someone should answer ,
" Watch your mouth Boy."

(snickering). Ah me oh my, wasn't it just YESTERDAY when grotty feminists like Boxer were asserting that childlessness was the sign of the liberation of women?

But not for Republican women.

Especially black Republicans, doncha know?

I wrote to Dr. Rice a little note of encouragement this morning. I know she is above all that kind of talk, but some nice words of encouragement never hurt. I've already received a kind response.

Boxer is a lowlife for going this route:

From the NY Post:

January 12, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Condoleezza Rice came under a shocking Democratic attack yesterday - as a childless

woman who can’t understand the sacrifices made by families of U.S. troops in Iraq. In a bitter personal

assault on the secretary of state during her appearance before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, anti-war Sen. Barbara Boxer fumed that Rice didn't com prehend the "price" of the war.

"You're not going to pay a particular price, as I under stand it, with an immediate family," Boxer (D- Calif.) ranted.

"Who pays the price?" she repeatedly demanded during Rice's Capitol Hill grilling.

"I'm not going to pay a personal price. My kids are too old, and my grandchild is too young . . . So who pays the price? Not me, not you."

Boxer continued:

"You can't begin to imagine how you celebrate any holiday or birthday. There's an absence. It's not like the person's never been there. They always were there, and now they're not, and you're looking at an empty hole."

Rice should immediately announce that she is gay. Then Boxer would have to grovel and apologize since anything the gay community does is OK with liberals like Boxer.

Condi has children -- the entire democrat party qualifies.

Can you imagine if a Republican critic of equally childless/unmarried Janet Reno's Waco and Elian-Gonzales raids had mentioned Reno's "status" as somehow relating to her qualifications for office??

There'd be a firestorm of media criticism, and probably rightly so.

This? Hardly a peep.

Classy Rice just sat there and took it. Bigger than little Boxer.

1. Condi should have responded, "Have you ever been mugged or raped? If not, then I guess you cannot understand the passions of 2nd-Amendment & Concealed-carry advocates."

2. Remaining childless makes Condi look MORE respectful of children: One CAN'T "Do it all," and do it well. Children often get warehoused by overachieving parents. Condi made a rational, responsible decision. If you earn a Ph.D. and rise to prominence, something has has to give, usually attention to your children (unless your husband stays at home, unlikely for someone who would be Condi's partner, she would probably be attracted to a person similar to herself...)

3. We have a volunteer army. These aren't 'kids,' - they're adults.

Americans are dumb as a box of rocks. Election after election clearly proves that and we don't have to start looking last year but as far back as 1800 when the stupidity REALLY took off.

Right. And Dr. Hollaway whose son raped a woman, was incarcerated, shot while trying to escape prison is an example of a positive, Liberal Democrat Black Female who is quitting her position on a COMMITTEE at a Prestigious, highpaying University but only because innocent white boys from High Income families are NOT being incarcerated on bogus charges and have been invited back to Said Esteemed Female's University, and because the University erred in judgement along with the Group of 88 of which the Esteemed Committee Member was possibly a member, if not supporter, of.

Shouldn't Barbara Boxer be showing solidarity with Dr. Hollaway and resign from her position on this particular and specific committee? ;>

You know what you said is so true. But I do believe this goes far beyond idiocy. I believe in all of my heartthere is and has been a grand scheme to bring this country to it's knees. For over 50 years there has been a systematic infiltration of our educational system, government, media and morality. I do believe that what we are now seeing is the fruit of of this plan. Boxer was voted into office by the people who this plan has targeted.

I don't much care for Boxer, but I heard her statement. She began by saying that she herself didn't have a personal stake in the war, because her children were too old to serve and her grandchildren too young. It didn't sound like a "personal attack" to me so much as a statement of fact.

As someone who has had and still has family members serving in the combat zones, and has friends and coworkers with family members serving in combat zones, I think Boxer makes a valid point that most of the politicians who are making decisions (and trying to score political points) on this issue don't actually know anyone serving over there.

I'm also a bit peeved that the only sacrifice most of us have been asked to make in support of the War on Terror is to "go shopping."

Yeah because Condi has never met or talked to any of the Generals over there. /s

How do ANY of us know who Dr. Rice or ANY other politician knows? Just because she doesn't publicize it for all to see doesn't mean she has NO living relative in the military.

Not everybody is Cindy Sheehan, making note of the fact that they have/had a relative in a combat zone.
