That needs to be repeated.
The concept that one must play nice and never stoop to their level is ludicrous. Through our history, the rat party has always played this game and the pubs are WRONG not to get down and dirty with them, embarass them at any opportunity, to call them liars, to use the rat's own tactics on them.
This spineless approach is what has been so wrong with the pubs. They will get more respect fighting back loudly, aggressively and defending themselves than rolling over and pleading "beat me some more".
Sniveling cowards, and I mean the pubs, led by Hagel.
The Democrats attacked Cheney for having a homosexual daughter.
And they avow the homosexual agenda.
The Democrats attack Dr. Rice for not having kids.
And they avow abortion.
How can we win a war with idiots such as these in the Congress? How do idiots such as these get elected to Congress? Morally bankrupt, incapable of seeing this country as the beacon it is.... Just what does Boxer think of why her grandparents came here? Why would they risk such a journey and leaving behind all that they knew to come to this country? It really really saddens me. We need to be shed of so-called leaders who have no belief in the nation they are supposed to lead.
And more so because of all the hatred the Democrats and their traitorous media have brought on the nation because of their constant demonizing of it.
I can't figure out why the Dems complain anyway, it's not like their children are at risk.....they won't be joining.

If a Republican Senator had grilled a Democrat Sec. of State like this, we wouldn't be reading this in Newsbusters...it would be above the fold in every major newsaper.

I know it's not quite the same, but interested Freepers can contact Mizzzzz Boxer's staff and share their opinion about her cold, evil, anti-feminist attack on Secretary Rice.
I spoke with a nice young man in her DC office just now; and he listened patiently, though with a little surprise that someone was giving his Senator Hell. He did not argue, or defend her, he did say he would pass the comments on to her.
My comments were that I was shocked, shocked (not really) that the Senator who professes to stand for womens rights, who supports the right to choose a family or not, who calls herself a feminist, would attack in such a cold, evil way, a modern woman who epitomizes everything that the Senator champions. I said that Secretary Rice was the first woman Secretary of State (I later realized I was wrong about that fact - Madeleine Albright's chromosomes would place her in the female sex), the first black woman, to make it to such a powerful administration position - and Senator Boxer attacked her for choosing a career over children.... didn't the Senator support a woman's right to make decisions about her own life? I told the staffer that Senator Boxer did a disservice to successful women everywhere by falling back on stereotypical "nasty catfight" tactics.
I was an "offended feminist," and I suggested that the Senator owed Secretary Rice and huge apology for the very nasty personal attack.
The staffer was polite, "yes ma'am," "I will tell her."

There may be a medical reason for Condi Rice not having children. She should have told Boxer that was none of her business.
Not only the recruiting will fall off but the senior noncom's and officers will be bailing. Not much point in fighting for your country, or for a cause you believe in, if the politicos won't let you fight. Like Nam, that is exactly what is happening today. These lefty/libos are coming to power, it's a generational thing, they are anti military but worse than that, they don't have a clue as to how to use the fighting forces we have. Unfortunately, many re pubs are exhibiting the same lack of expertise. God help us 'cos the current crop of Congress critters can't.

Yes indeed--and she travels to hot spots where she is the most hated individual because of THE JOB SHE IS DOING FOR US. She has a big bulls eye on her head, and carries herself with at least as much dignity and courage as any Secretary of State in history.

I hate to say this but only a guy like O'Reilly can speak for us now as he does point out on a daily basis this media slant... and people do watch and do get the info....... however it is still not enough. We are doomed if the media covers overtly for the next two years the spite these Dims have for our country...

So what else is new? Boxer is just voicing the seething hatred and contempt the liberals have toward Bush and anyone associated with him. If a Republican had made these remarks the MSM would be all over them like white on rice, but because it is one of their own ...nothing to see here. Media bias in its finest.
