Even in California they'd probably be held without bond until trial. That would be the last time they ever wore clothes other than plastic flip flops and an orange 'Shoot me' jumpsuit.
As much as many of us would like to see a death penalty warranted here, it's not that kind of case -- even though it oughtta be.
Life without parole in Buzzard Canyon State Prison, at the very least.
