There have been many cases of Chinese illegal aliens entering through the Mexico Border.
Also, don't forget that Mexico votes against US interests more often than not in the UN.
Number of Chinese illegals who have been caught by the United States but China has so far refused to take back: 39,000[U.S. Department of Homeland Security]»

n a case that American officials said highlights a new trend in trafficking illegal immigrants through Mexico, authorities have broken up an organization that smuggled hundreds of undocumented Asians into the United States along a pipeline through Russia, Cuba and Central America. The Chinese, Indian and Pakistani migrants paid up to $28,000 each to smugglers for a grueling clandestine journey that climaxed in this border city when teen-agers ferried them in inner tubes north across th...

Chinese migrants--153 men and 21 women--are taken off a rusty, rat-infested fishing boat that was seized by US authorities off coast of Mexico three weeks ago and brought to San Diego; most are likely to be sent back to China unless they can prove legitimate claims for political asylum.....

Further, what about international guarantees of safe passage of diplomats?
Would Mexico have shot down the Taiwanese airliner for an overflight not diverted?
The Taiwanese should have thumbed their noses at the Mexicans and called their bluff, citing standard worldwide protocols for such flights.
Mexico would become an international pariah by shooting down an unarmed aircraft on an international diplomatic mission.
Taiwan held all the aces and had nothing to lose by its diplomats continuing to overfly Mexico in defiance.
Taiwan should have shown a big pair and flipped Mexico the bird.
The U.S. government should file a strong diplomatic protest to China and especially Mexico for this international insult.
Thugs.
Would Mexico order the plane of some other nation (say, Iran) to leave its air space if we told them to?
Nicaragua has diplomatic relations with Taiwan and receives large amounts of aid from it, but Mexico does not recognize Taiwan and instead has ties with China.
I wonder how long that will last, now that the Reds are in control in Nicaragua again?
I imagine they filed a flight plan. I think those are available on line. It would surprise me if they weren't. Especially since the flight would be partially over the US, with a landing in the US.
Yes. Very Christ like.
It looks W will go down as the worse President ever.
Especially considering he will be blamed for things that bj did.
Yes, do check it out. It's being built to accomodate Chinese goods bound for the US by way of the Trans-Texas Corridor, a boondoggle that will confiscate thousands and thousands of acres of Texas farm and ranch land, cut a dividing line across the midwest four football fields wide. Put the state in the real estate business since no one will be allowed to own land adjacent to the corridor, but will be required to lease that land from the state for gas stations, hotels, and restaurants. On-ramps will be fifty miles apart making it virtually unusable for any local land owners. Oh, and did I mention it's designed as a toll road!!!
It's designed to use Mexican truck drivers to quash any notions of using union drivers. Like those who presently bring goods from China through California ports to points east. Big business plans to kill off the unions once and for all.
The Trans-Texas Corridor will be the bigest land grab in US history, an 800 mile long crime scene.
Oh cripes. Mexico is everyone's slut but ours, it seems. We happen to be Mexico's slut.
Mexico is clearly an enemy of the U.S.
Wasn't Daniel Ortega a pro-Soviet strongman back int he 1980's? My memory might be wrong...
On another topic, how pathetic of MExico to do China's bidding in this matter. Eventually Taiwan might get tired of this sort of red-headed stepchild treatment and declare independence. That would be bad for all concerned.
The Trans-Texas Corridor will be the bigest land grab in US history, an 800 mile long crime scene.
If it will "kill off the unions once and for all", then I'm all for it!
Unions are the largest and most politically entrenched criminal enterprises in our nation's history. Their thugs, goons, enforcers, bagmen, murderers, lobbyists and associated criminal members of Congress have destroyed our free market economy.

BTW--what most concerns me most is that so many FReep/DUmmies (they're almost indistinguishable anymore) ignore the real question:
Why the hell are we propping up Taiwan when Taiwan supports the marxist Ortega? To me, that's worth a lot more pondering than any Chinese-Mexican cooperation.
Another reason never to allow a North American Union.
That is exactly what I was thinking the other day. As far as the Muslims taking over I would just have to die because I would not be able to wear a burka when it gets hot and I would never denouce being a Christian.
