Willdo.
I'm further south, Orange County, but it can still nail us 'down here'.
Who writes this stuff? What a drama queen.
Yupper, never know where they are gonna hit.
We had freezing rain this morning, some mix and enough snow to barely cover green things growing up here just north of you. Other than staying off the roads, I don't think we need worry about this one too much.
Drives me nuts when all caps are used.
lol!
You ever drive through freezing rain? Last time I did was Easter Sunday morning 1978 in Northwest Pennsylvania. Never do it again. Don't be a pessimist, be a realist.
I don't think they realize the caps just make it more difficult to read.
We already have it here in Missouri, having started Friday night. There is 2 inches of frozen slush on the ground covered with at least 1/4-1/2 inch of smooth ice. My husband took 1 step out of the garage this morning and slid 20 feet down the hill...no way to get footing. I finally got a small shovel and chopped individual footsteps into the ice while he got the vehicle out and down to the street. We are expecting another 2-4 inches of this weird mix tonight. Stay safe, stay warm.
I've driven on roads that freezing rain had started to turn into sheet ice. The only thing to do is find a place to park and take shelter
believe it ot not - it's still a TELETYPE based system...
and being on linux I guess I should write a script to "de-cappify" it.
I did the same back in the 70s in CT. And my defroster went. I had to stop the car every 5 minutes to pour fluid on the windshield. I couldn't even see the road when I had to pull over to do that. Needless to say, when I finally made it home, I closed the door and collapsed in a sobbing heap on the floor.
