Do you believe President Bush´s announced plan to send an additional 21,500 U.S. troops to Iraq will effectively quell sectarian violence there?

Yes. Using the troops as part of a strategy of flushing out insurgents, then holding the areas until they can be stabilized will go a long way toward bringing peace to the Iraqi capital.

No. The number of troops is inadequate to make a measurable difference in a country that is headed toward civil war. Other coalition nations such as South Korea and Great Britain may be pulling their troops out, so the outlook is not good.
