Huh. I never heard of Chris Hedges, but he certainly doesn't sound like a serious person, to say the least. I wonder what makes the author of this review take the assclown seriously enough to review his book?

What's more disturbing is the number of posters on FR lately who make statements borne of the same mindset as Hedges.

Much like the Islamic cults, the left tries to dehumanize their political opponents, which leads to hate and radicalism.

If this keeps up, they will begin to use violence.

It is evoked anew by the latest literary venture of Chris Hedges, the Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist and leftist provocateur.

And, it can't be emphasized enough (and as the article notes), a longtime Officially Credentialed Reporter for The New York Times.

"Pulitzer talent takes on the Right -- and comes up short." So, Chris Hedges is a little faggot? [Where's Ann when we need he in-put?]

The reason Hedges is reviewed is because he quite clearly shows what the left is really about.

He is not just hiding in the weeds pretending to be rational and objective, he is saying and ranting the way almost every important democrat, university professor and news anchor would love to rant.

His anti-Christian bigotry, his hippie morality and the rest of his incredible distortions of truth are all parts of the leftist mentality that is at all out war against the United States.

Hedges clearly hates the God of the Bible, yet he is still hiding in the weeds pretending that he is a Christian, as this is part of the left's strategy.
