I think the list of Dems who aren't running is shorter than those who are at this point.

This will go over like Bruce Babbitt's stellar campaign in 88.

Fat Billy would have a much greater chance of winning a general election than either Hillary or Jihadi Hussein Obama.

Bill coming in to take out Obama. He is a minority and it will be more PC for an Hispanic to do so than HRC or Edwards.

The debates for both parties will be so crowded that they will need to be held in outdoor stadiums.

What's the count on each side now? 15 wannabes each?

Hillary will discourage him.

Is she going to leak that his birth name is Faruk Abdullah and he spent the first 40 years of his life in a mosque?

Well, now, there's a big shock.

To be fair, though, he would make a better president than Hillabama.

Probably in her interest for him to run. When you're the frontrunner, you want as many rivals as possible. A two man (err, person) race is where frontrunners get upset. When its a frontrunner versus everyone else, its hard for one challenger to climb over the rest to take on the front runner.

I'd say that especially goes for this year. Obama is getting a ton of press for being the "first" black candidate (Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Alan Keyes excepted I guess), Richardson will get the same treatment for being the first Hispanic candidate. That will mean less press for Obama and the rest of the Dems.

Yep, he is the least freaky of the candidates, speaks well and has had alot of face time on news shows. I suspect that he will give Hillary serious competition.

I totally agree. Richardson has much more to offer than those other dem wannabees.

Agreed. He definitely has a solid resume (and the guy does seem to have a knack for diplomacy, didn't he just work some deal in Darfur?). Ironically, Hillary can't go after his biggest screwup: when he was Ambassador to the UN, the White House had him create a position (there wasn't an actual job opening) for Monica Lewinsky on his staff. Would LOVE to see Hillary bring that up in a debate. :o)

I don't want any dem to get back into the WH, but of all the field, I think BR would do the least amount of damage.

Except that he's a much better candidate than she is. He will make the Hill look weak by comparison.

Funny how the Dems have no women who want to run.
