These news-talk programs really need to increase their circle of guests.

This same-o week after week after week gets mighty old.

I think I'll remote through the 'paid programming' infomercials this morning. At least they have new gadgets frequently.

Good morning and thanks AB. Congratulations to last weeks winners and the great posts.

For what it's worth, we have snow again in Denver. I've written to Al Gore but he fails to respond to this situation of cold and snow almost every weekend here.

Good Morning!

300,000,000 Americans + assorted "others" and we get the same 10-12 faces/mouths on Sunday TV Talk Shows. Where is the "DIVERSITY"?

Gotta sing at church this morning but got a doozy of a tale for you folks.

I submitted an article for the Sussex Country Republican Women's Club's newsletter. I had been asked to take over this newsletter, something I am frankly not all that enthusiastic about as I'd prefer blogging. But I like to do my share, as it were.

So my little 150 word article got REJECTED!

Hey, I'm used to rejection, being a writer and everything, but damn, my piece was just a little nothing fluff of prose that wouldn't harm a fly.

And yet it became the cause celebre from the local chapter all the way up to the national association of Republican women's clubs and go on, what a supreme waste of time.

Know what I did wrong? Heh. I mentioned the sanctity of life. The "theme" was "how women can make a difference" and hey, one of my sentences was something to the affect "women understand the value of life in the womb". I'll post it in its entirety later but giving a synopsis here. I mean I didn't go on like a religious zealot and I didn't even mention the word "abortion".

But the little piece was an "editorial" as my accusers called it, and too "controversial".

The GOP candidate who ran against Mike Castle last election, a lackluster Jan Ting, REFUSED to committ to his feelings on abortion. Thus most of the disenchanted Repubs in this very blue state switched over to an independent candidate, one Christine O'Donnell. Who is now a Fox news pundit, by the way.

The Republicans in this state of Delaware are NOT conservatives, ladies and gems. Delaware, where even the GOP women are not allowed to talk about the value of life in the womb.

It's disgusting. And you will not believe what a big damn deal they made over my little 150 word piece. Sure it's an editorial, what the hell did they want for a 150 words...the Gettysburg address?

But hey, no editorials in the GOP women's newsletter. Can't risk alienating Delaware's liberals and baby murderers.

Will get back at you all later, after church.

Got a meeting with these ladies this upcoming week and looking for wise advice on how to handle this.

'Triangulation' is the act of a candidate presenting his or her ideology as being "above" and "between" the left and right sides of the political spectrum. A related term is third way politics.

The GOP have taken 'triangulation' to a new level, which I call 'strangulation'.

'Strangulation' is the act of a GOP candidate presenting his or her idealogy as being "abhorrent" and "baffling" to the right side of the political spectrum. A related term is RINO politics.

Teddy wants to use diplomatic means to deal with Iraq and to cover a withdrawal. And, my goodness, Massachusetts Fats thinks that the Bush administration has made things worse in Iran! This tripe can't be helped; the Dims will simply play the "easy way out card", which appeals to the non-thinking majority. The description of the 1979 Iranian hostage situation is still being termed a "diplomatic" crisis by the Left! It was an act of war which this nation chose to deny, and now we are paying the price. The bill will go go much higher before politics takes a back seat to reality.

Bill Richardson lists off all the things wrong with this country but not a thing about illegals.

By the way, Richardson, like all the other candidates with elected positions, should resign from his govenorship if he wants to run for president. If you have been voted in to office you have a job you agreed to do. Either show up for that job and do it or resign and run for president.

I got home from church in time to see the last part of McCain...he looked kinda down in the dumpers.

I saw Brownback in THIS WEEK for me it's between Brownback & Rommney.

I wonder Maxine Waters will talk about the steelers new coach. I think her husband used to play for the steelers.
