Reagan was a man who could speak his conscience. He never cared about polls. Reagan did what he thought was right and could articulate an arguement better than any politician ever. I never heard a Reagan speech that did not uplight me.

I find it truly amazing (and disgusting) that most of the people who support unrestricted abortion are against the death penalty.

Reagan's social legacy as governor is ideologically mixed as he vetoed bilingual education and marijuana decriminalization legislation but signed into law the most liberal abortion statute of its day. http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20040606/news_lz1x6gov.html
At least he changed his mind as he got older, similar to Mitt Romney and some other Republican candidates.

Abortion concerns not just the unborn child, it concerns every one of us.
We have killed 17% of our population. 17% of car buyers, 17% of babie products, etc, 17% of our armed forces, 17% of those to pay into social security. 17% of caregivers who will take care of us as we age.
We have replaced those with illegals who in many cases hate America, and us.
My concern is the judgment from an Almighty God, but America is already reaping the consequences of its selfishness.
