I have done this, and they still sell out our country. Case in point.

Support a low tax rate, and state exactly what it is, like 6%, dropping the 'tax cut' that is so vague.

It's time for the Republican Party to stand together. I do not believe that every Republican candidate needs to agree on every issue. We have moved from being the party of ideas to the party of group think; just like the Democrats.

When I was young, Republicans stood for limited government, strong foreign policy, standing by our friends and standing up to our enemies. There are too many litmus tests for our candidates to go through. I would never run for office because I do not hold positions the litmus testers expect.

I am a Evangelical Christian but I do not agree with Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell on most of their political pronouncements; they do not speak for me. As much as I am opposed to abortion, I do not believe the issue should be the primary consideration of the worthiness of a candidate. Party members need the freedom to hold a range of positions on any topic.

If these hotshot pollsters and GOP lobbyists have to resort to a mail in campaign to figure out what went wrong, they're in bigger trouble than they know.

I have, many times. ~And written Congressmen and Senators...to no avail.

So because they lost their digs they want to know what I think? So they can ignore me and everyone else again?

Hey RNC.

Welcome to the dance.

Now look around and see if MAYBE you might notice there IS someone that brought you to the dance in the first place.

Now you know the meaning of the word "is."

Frankly, I'd love to respond, but I don't see the point. Prior to 11/06, the RNC and the elected Republican Party representatives had all developed selective deafness that prevented them from hearing anything we had to say. What difference will these comments make to a party bent on its own self-destruction, unwilling to stand up against the oppression and thuggery of the Dems, and too willing to remain the idiot minority party for decades to come???

I'll back a dark horse when the horse proves it wants to win. So far, the Republicans haven't shown anything like that. Selective deafness and selective blindness are NOT attributes of the candidates I want to squander my vote on.

As I won't have time to go to confession this Sunday, I cannot, at this time, honestly share my thoughts with the RNC.

I was formerly a GOP contributor, but these days I don't even acknowledge that I am a Republican. I am disgusted with this party. You care for more Illegal Aliens than you care for me. You want to give them my son's social security. You put good Border Agents in prison but let Illegals rape, murder and steal us blind day in and day out. You curb free speech [or stand stupidly by while the Democrats do it]. You let the UN get away with murder, and with slandering the US while seldom offering anything but compliments in rebuttal. [The Democrats were not made to pay even a tiny price for torpedoing the best UN ambassador in recent decades, John Bolton.] You embrace CAIR as if it wasn't a terrorist supporting institution that hates America. You let the Democrats block countless Bush judge nominations with impunity. You outspend Democrats. Give me one reason why I shouldn't vote third party in 08. Just one.

Sincerely

[PS: I am not posting this to be told why I would be a moron to vote third party in 08. Of course I don't know how I will vote until I see the nominee. I just wanted to let the GOP know that so far they haven't given me a good reason to plan on supporting them.]
