Regarding Jonathan Pollard, the Washington Times recently disclosed that although he was sentenced to a life term, a little noticed change in federal law prior to his sentencing requires automatic parole hearings after 30 years.

With his good behavior time, Pollard could be out of jail in about 6 years if I remember correctly.

But if you think that's bad, then what comes once he's out of jail is even worse. Israel grants their spies large sums of cash while in jail. In Pollards case I believe they owe him over $6 million.
