Why Bush Justice rolled over for Sandy Berger
Family Security Matters ^ | 1-25-07 | Jack Cashill

Posted on 01/25/2007 10:58:20 AM PST by windchime

As I watched these events unfold two years ago, I presumed that the Bush DOJ chose not to exploit these stories for reasons of national security. Although seemingly unrelated, both of these stories lead to the same larger secret, a secret that Berger risked his career to conceal, a secret that if revealed had the potential to destabilize the nation during a time of war.

As I have since learned, however, the Bush White House is not fully in control of its own Justice Department and FBI. In truth, the decision to protect Berger may have more to do with saving the Clinton legacy than with stabilizing the nation.

Bush....could probably get this taken care of, if he wanted to).

I have so often wondered why Bush doesn't drill down on this stuff. After trying to wrap my mind around that story, I can only imagine Bush being briefed on this and saying, "that kitchen-fire is under control for the moment, meanwhile let's concentrate on the nuclear forest fire in the middle east where service men are dying every day--and counting on us to focus."

Yeah, but it's that magical "New Tone", ya know. Give someone a cute nickname and he'll always be your friend. Maybe it worked for El Presidente in Texas, but I've seen firsthand that folks in Texas are a helluva lot nicer and more honest than the cut throat scumbags in DC.

We need fighters to lead us, not compassionate wusses.

Interesting information about your acquaintance at Redstone Arsenal.  I don't recall the story about the Kennedy buddy.  Let me know if you remember a name.

Cashill has been writing about Flight 800 a long time.  IMO, one of the most damning comments is here:

http://www.cashill.com/twa800/deception4dollars.htm

From the very beginning, the Clinton administration knew that the airliner did not explode due to mechanical failure. George Stephanopoulos acknowledged as much on ABC in the wake of the recent World Trade Center attack. "In my time at the White House," he said off-handedly, "(the situation room) was used in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing, in the aftermath of the TWA Flight 800 bombing, and that would be the way they would stay in contact through the afternoon." This revelation was reported on WND by Reed Irvine recently.

Part of Burglar's plea agreement was to agree to take a polygraph test......as of yet, the Department of "Justice" has failed to make him follow through on it.

To be exact, 'burrowed in' corrupt elements of the Justice Department.  When a Clinton criminal escapes severe penalty, I always think of this article:

Rolling Back Clinton

One morning at the nub end of Bill Clinton's presidency, Clinton chief of staff John Podesta walked into a senior staff meeting in the Roosevelt Room waving a copy of USA Today. Holding the paper aloft, Podesta read the headline out loud, "Clinton actions annoy Bush." The article detailed the new rules and Executive Orders the outgoing President was issuing in his final days, actions aimed in equal measure at locking in Clinton's legacy (in areas like environmental protection) and bedeviling his successor. "What's Bush so annoyed about?" Podesta asked with a devilish smile. "He's got four years to try to undo all the stuff we've done."

Six years, wars, catastrophic events, devious power-hungry politicians and treasonous media have impeded efforts to 'undo all the stuff they've done'.

That makes sense to me, too, sam_paine.

Sorry. No sale.

This Berger fiasco and the corrupt actions of the Bush Justice Department could not possibly have been overlooked by Bush or by his people in charge. This was not "burrowed in" corruption - - this was on a giant marquee. In fact, it still is.

And I am still waiting for Bush and company to DO SOMETHING about Berger.
Please ping me if that ever happens.

And why hasn't Bergler been indicted??? What would the new charges be? As I understand it, he's already been tried, convicted, and sentenced. I'm not an atty, but I don't think he can be re-charged or re-sentenced - unless it was something new.

If DOJ would go after the guy who ordered Berger to do what he did, Berger would voluntarily go to jail. If anyone thinks that Berger acted alone in the doc theft, I have a nice bridge that may interest you!!!!!

The last thing the Bush Administration wants to do is get Berger.

His name was Pierre Salinger....thanks to oceanview who recalled the name. My acquaintance at Redstone never said a word to me....just so everyone understands. If you want something done about the Berger fiasco, try writing your representatives until you get the response that you feel is reasonable. That should not stop the troops from doing what they are trained to do. It MIGHT entice our representatives to do their jobs.

Way too much cosiness in Washington for the national good.

Let's hope our next President - Duncan Hunter - will not have to make nice with the cronies of his predecessors - from both parties.

Explosive .. and infuriatingly SICKENING ... ..!! I'm so sorry I was eating dinner while I read this. OUR OWN GOVERNMENT ... the DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE!!

I just know this is all true .. every FReeping word, every part of the LuciferClintons' installed and annointed conspiratorial web at every important intelligence and law enforcement post, like a commune of regenerating Manchurian sentries, protecting every one of the Clinton jackals.

I mean it .. I am ill ... I want to punch a wall ... I want vengeance and justice delivered for the vileness of these socialist, sociopathic worms who deceptively invaded our lives, and whose satanic progeny and irreparable damage to US will never end! Is there NO ONE ??

I can't even laugh about Berger anymore.

Will passing this to Mark, BOR, Hannity, Rush, Hugh do any good? I'm irrational at this point.

Please .. read it.
