Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson won't vote for a Halfrican......the black lady down in the mail-room where I work won't vote for a Halfrican either.

It looks like Obama has been painted with the same paintbrush that got Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas, Collin Powel and even Bill Cosby. ....... they are all too damn White on the inside for the NAALCP to support.....

It's funny to see all the rich white hippy liberals flock to Obama.....

Nice to see something good come out of all that liberal guilt.

Perhaps the biggest advantage Obama has over his opponents is his good standing with the evangelical community.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Definitely the work of a student writer. It gives a whole new dimension to the term "sophomoric."

very few blacks would vote for either Edwards or Clinton over Obama

What's the point here? If the premise is "Why the Democrats Should Pick Obama", this idea has nothing to do with it.

Obama is already the darling of the women.

I DON'T KNOW WHY I LOVE HIM
(From the musical, "Barack Obama Superstar")
Tune: "I Don't Know How to Love Him"

I don't know why I love him,
My Barack, my Obama;
I've been charmed, yes really charmed,
By his trim physique, so slim and sleek--
I'm awed by his mystique.

I don't know why he's running,
I don't see any substance;
No real plan, flash in the pan,
And I've heard such empty words before
That when I close my eyes
He's just a bore.

But I like his face,
And I like his voice;
Makes my heartbeat race!
Makes me feel all moist!
I never thought I'd come to this:
Obama is my choice.

Don't you think it's rather shallow
I should vote for this fellow?
I'm the one who's always been
So pure, so pissed, so feminist;
I don't need men, oh no--
He scares me so.

But I like his face,
And I like his voice;
Makes my heartbeat race!
Makes me feel all moist!
I never thought I'd come to this:
Obama is my choice.

Yet, like in a romance novel,
I'm in love with a male model;
I've got to look! He signed my book!
My heart runs wild! I'll bear his child!
I want the world to know:
He's my "Big O"!
Obama, go!
I love you so!

"It's funny to see all the rich white hippy liberals flock to Obama....."

Until they are enjoying the privacy of a voting booth. After his loss we'll hear them say, "How did he lose? I don't know anyone who didn't vote for him."

When it comes to Republican voters, the name Clinton still remains a liability for Hillary

Again, a completely irrelevant point. How many Rs can there be who won't vote for Clinton, but would vote for the Irishman O'bama?

It isn't about character, capability, or qualifications. It's all about beating the Republicans and gaining power.

[On the other hand, I can see why the Democrats wouldn't want to spend much time considering "character, capability, or qualifications".]

There is no doubt that the present Bush administration Log Cabin Republicans has done serious damage to the image of the Republican Party.

There. Fixed it.

The white "guilt-laden" liberals will have this little niggling doubt, because, well, Barack Hussein Osama-Obama smokes tobacco, which as everybody knows, is vastly more habit-forming than heroin. What if he breaks out a pack of cigarettes and lights up in the middle of a meeting?

No matter who they pick I'm not voting for him/her. I'm too scared they'll let the terrorists take over.

I would take Obama over Hillary, but if Hunter runs I would want it to be against Hillary. I'm sure that would be a crushing land slide =O)

Go Hunter 08!!

Let him keep thinking these things are all true, and are reasons to nominate him. Then when he loses.....

Not to take everyone off the focus on the Obama, but we will be seeing Al Gore and, he won't be doing any swimsuit poses to emphasize global warming.

Gore may show up with the whales in the Arctic. Time to take the swim, Gore!

No, blacks only get relegated to certain rolls and must be made to think they are taking a roll.
