Keyes for President is that you? Thanks for proving to anyone reading that your small wing of the Republican Party is one of the nastiest!

Nah, Bush just dragged them down in Oklahoma too. He has coat tails after all.

It's hard to fathom how you can say what you say about the unique gift that every individual is, and yet give a hardcore abortion supporting politician like Giuliani a tip of your hat.
Puzzling.

I am pro-life...I know you are. So is Mitt Romney.

It's tough. We have to fight MSM all the time. Remember how Mark Foley was a nightly fixture on the evening news every night up to election day and suddenly, no more Mark Foley stories. They served their purpose.

Yeah, it's pretty damning that this court only has a couple of Dem justices, and yet still leans left.
And it comes from the sort of mushy, unprincipled thinking that we're seeing on FR on these threads these days.

It's funny. I could comfortably vote for Duncan Hunter, Romney or Rudy (McCain is a looney).....whoever was nominated to run against Shrillary. Nobody said you shouldn't. But a number of people, like you, need to check their calendars. We're in the PRIMARY ELECTION phase right now. We won't be into the General Election phase for well over a year. Save your arguments trying to get conservatives to vote for Rudy against Hillary until WHEN AND IF THAT IS THE CHOICE. Until then, making such an argument is just plain stupid.

Kind of like Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Bush 41 did?

Thanks for debunking this silly "it's the conservatives' fault" nonsense.

In all fairness, I've never seen PKM claim to be a conservative - just a Republican and a Sooners fan.

"This is one of the despicable new tactics of the Rudy McRomniacs. I've seen it trotted out several times today. If you don't support a liberal, conservatism will die. If you don't support Rudy McRomney, you support Hillary, and hate our troops".
The statement is both false and true.
Nobody is saying you have to support Rudy now. You can support anyone you like until the party nominates a candidate. Hopefully for you, it will be your guy.
However, if it is Rudy, you have an obligation to support him in order to prevent this country from suffering a humiliating defeat in the War on Terror under President Psycho Whore.
I am pro life and anti gay marriage but I know that if I don't vote for whoever the Republican nominee is, Hillary will be elected and that would be a tragedy for America.
And I would be to blame.
Rudy would also nominate strict constructionists to the SCOTUS and that is much more important than his personal opinions.
Just keep in mind which person would make a better Commander in Chief.
Why is this so hard for seemingly intelligent people to understand?

we don't litmus test our picks. and that's OK, because the litmus test ones couldn't get confirmed anyway. so the best any republican president does, is screen and select based on judicial philosophy. it's all we've got.
If Rudy does run, I hope he speaks frankly about this issue. because that's his only chance to salvage any position amongst social conservative, a careful explanation about the true facts behind judicial picks. he has to be able to get up there and say "my personal beliefs on abortion, won't be litmus tested into my judicial appointments".

The fact that the Democrats nominated an unlikable moron helped too!

Yeah. It's getting worse and worse. Of course, the Lord said that would be the case. Oh well, in the end, He, and we, win. All we have to do is stay faithful.
Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair; the rest is in the hands of God. - George Washington
