The President and First Lady attended the National Prayer Breakfast today and then participated in a meeting on child fitness in the Roosevelt Room of the White House.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
This recipe sounds like the one I use to use.

I like ginger in just about anything.
Thank you, snugs ... loved that clip of the President serving coffee to General Pace .. it was cute.
Mystery -- I just get the logon page ...no pictures. Do we have to do something?
That's a beautiful first picture.
How come this couple can look like they've posed for hours in a studio with makeup, etc. for a candid shot.
My candid shots... well, usually I'm eating.
LOL
Thanks for the pictures snugs. It is zero F outside and I can't get the corner where my computer sits warmed up. Minus 15 forecast for tonight and the next several days here.
That's great mystery! You have 24 hours to set him up with a good woman.
Those are the best kinds and when you see them years later, you will think of what a wonderful time you were having.
Do not stay on line for too long then if it is that cold by the computer
video is hilarious but does Laura give him a look at the end or what?
Maybe she doesn't think he should tease the gallant general.
I have it in photobucket...that may be your problem...seems several people can't see pics that are in photobucket.....let me see if I can move it...
What wonderful days you'll have .. I know you're waiting with baited breath and high anticipation. God bless Jon on his journey home, and all his days. Da Bearz!
I mailed a package to you on the 23rd. You will probably get it soon.
You're right MamaB... I am always happy when I'm eating!
I did notice that Laura didn't seem to see the humor in it! :) However, I decided that perhaps she didn't really realize what he was doing. She seems to have a great sense of humor and I want to think she would have had a good laugh about it, too!
wives are usually the last to get the hubby's jokes!
Things in Georgia were shut down today as we had an inch of snow. :) Having lived in Michigan until 10 years ago, dh and I still get a kick out of this! Here is a picture of my dd with her snowmen today! Ds, age 8, brought her snow by the handfuls and she built them. The photo is a little small, but if you look closely you can see some daffodils poking up in the foreground!
And also are the harshest critics!
Now I see it !!! Oh god .. simply stunning ... ROFL!!
