GOP tactic blocks Iraq debate
As Democrats were getting ready to debate what was wrong with President Bush's plan to send additional troops to Iraq, Republicans managed to block the resolution. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid accused Republicans of giving Bush a "green light." "You can run, but you can't hide," Reid said. "We are going to debate Iraq."

The LATimes refered to the Starr lawyers as using 'desperate tactics' while crediting Clinton's lawyers with 'sophisticated maneuverings'. I canceled the Times after that.

Hewitt was playing the audio from Reid today .. and it was a riot. McConnell had him totally flustered. Reid was whining about the 60 votes .. and how many times did the dems use that 60 votes against us with their smirky faces .. the dems are just pitiful. The dems like the rules - ONLY WHEN THEY HELP THEM.
It was priceless.
