I cannot believe what I am reading. A Republican congressman wants to impeach a Republican President in times of war because he is faulting the President for someone being beaten in jail? Even the left wing loons did not come up with such impeachment lunatic idea yet.

It's the straw that broke the camel's back. It's only a straw, but it tips the balance.

It is amazing to me how otherwise decent people can so easily lose their common sense bearings. It amazes me further that folks don't see how easily they are being manipulated by the left wing who are bound and determined to use this issue to further their own goals, which is most definitely NOT about closing the border.

It's become unreal. Any ideas on how to change it? I laughed at first, then I got mad...now I'm not sure what to do.

jveritas, I will wager even you have a line the President should not cross, or a straw that will break the camels back. He(GW) crossed my line-in-the-sand long ago.

Believe it, lot's of conservatives would be very happy to see this president gone over his failure to defend US borders, his failure to enforce US immigration laws and his wrongful prosecuition of border agents that do try to the defend US borders and enforce US laws. Bush appears to be entirely in the pocket of drug dealers.

How about conspiring with foreign entities to destroy the sovereign borders of the United States and create a third world entity, while going to great lengths to disallow input from Americans affected, and failing and refusing to execute American laws to that end, in direct opposition to the Constitution which he swore to uphold and protect.

Would that work for you?

Common sense has gone out the window. The only thing that matters is political posturing and turning everything against our CIC.

Our country may very well lose the WoT, but it will be lost from within and by those traitors that call themselves American citizens.

Crazy isn't it? Some have made it clear around here that my welcome is in jeapordy and my crime? I support a Republican president, George Bush, and a Republican candidate to succeed him, Rudy Guluiani.

Your are correct, we are at war and he has a sworn duty to protect and defend the borders of our nation.

He has sneered at this.

If the 'next major event' comes from terrorists who crossed our land border illegally. Impeachment will be the least of Bush's worries.
