The Republicans did oppose Homeland Security but they caved; and they ran Congress. Can't blame the Dems for a dumb idea when the GOP passed it.
The Border Patrol trial is going to shed a very uncomplimentary light on the Justice Dept. These cops were no angels, but they were whacked by an agenda driven Prosecutor.
If you think the Sgt.@ Arms is not being whispered to by Pelosi, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for you. The only good guys in this fuss is DoD who is fighting back against one of their biggest critics who now wants one of their biggest perks. Don't forget that SFO booted the military out, so to speak.
