  • The Jerusalem Post reported that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said there is no need for military action to stop Iran from moving forward with its nuclear program.

 

Iran test fires Russian missiles near Strait of Hormuz

  • The International Herald Tribune reported that Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards test fired its new Russian defense missile system Wednesday near the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

 

Iran Considers Gasoline Rationing

  • The Weekly Standard reported that Iranians are among the world's biggest consumers of gasoline and the regime is being forced to introduce gasoline rationing.

 

The Persian Renaissance

  • The New York Sun reported that a renaissance that the ruling Iranian mullahs fear the most. If the Persians are awakened to their identity as children of Cyrus the Great, who wrote mankind's first charter of human rights, these oppressive regimes will topple domino-style.

 

Yanks Holding 36 Iranians, Tehran Regime Charges

  • Eli Lake, The New York Sun reported that Iran's ambassador in Baghdad has accused America of having 36 Iranians in custody, a far higher number than previous counts of detained Iranians provided by American spokesmen.

What ever PM has in mind to stall Iran from nuking them, would simply be a temporary fix. Muslims can only be rationed with using violence.

Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards

It's funny what passes for "elite" these days. Our Special Forces units and the British SAS are elite. The (former) Iraqi Republican Guard and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards are just more fanatical and loyal to their respective leadership.

There's alot of "ifs" there ... if this ... and if that ... then all will be well in this world ... never happen!

Russia, China, Europe, and a host of mid-east governments would gladly let us do the necessary dirty work, expending our resources. They would welcome US action against Iran privately but publicly condemn the U.S.

So, what's new ...
