el alarma del barf was implied in the title which included the words "Dixie Chicks"

donde esta el alarma del barf? Now hang on just a second there, hispanarepublicana. As a newbie Spanish speaker I have to ask -- shouldn't "alarma" be preceded by the article la instead of el, being that it's of the feminine gender (as indicated by the "a" at the end)? Either "el alarma" is an exception to the rule or it should be la alarma (or el alarmo), no?

Y'know, I always
have wondered how to say that in Spanish.
''Alarma del barf''. Love it! Nice to know that 'barf' is genderless...heh heh heh.
