Trying to scientifically explain biblical miracles is both stupid and counterproductive.
Stupid, because eventually, no matter how far back you can "explain," you will meet a point where the law of science no longer apply. Like...with God's existence in the first place.
Counterproductive, because now if there is a miracle that couldn't be explained with the laws of science, we have effectively conceded to the anti-Christians that that disproves Christianity.
But I applaud this guy's motives.

Actually light has both an electric and an magnetic field (hence the term electromagnetic spectrum). And I'm pretty sure that the Holy Spirit isn't a magnetic field.

I thought that was figured out with the "clap on" light?

If God spoke everything into existence as the Genesis record proposes, then we should be able to scientifically prove that the construction of everything in the universe begins with a) the Holy Spirit (magnetic field); b) Light (an electric field); and c) that Light can be created by a sonic influence or sound," Samuel J. Hunt writes on his website.I'm a person of faith and this is one of the stupidest statement I have ever read. WND has jumped the shark.

As a Christian and a physicist...
""If God spoke everything into existence as the Genesis record proposes, then we should be able to scientifically prove that the construction of everything in the universe begins with a) the Holy Spirit (magnetic field); b) Light (an electric field); and c) that Light can be created by a sonic influence or sound," Samuel J. This is WRONG. XD

Well, if he's assuming the existence of water before light, I suspect he's on the wrong track, big time.
