"House Committee Hearing on 'Warming of the Planet' Canceled Because of Snow/Ice Storm"

Reminds me of some graffiti I saw on the UC San Diego campus in 1976 - "Today's meeting of the Clairvoyant's Society is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances."

Semper Fi,

So maybe Nancy Pelosi will stage a massive fart-in in the nation's capital to combat the cold weather.

I have been looking into "global warming" for some months now, and while, I haven't kept notes, I have read some convincing science that global temperature fluctuations are caused by solar cycles that seem to vary in "prime number" durations of years. For example, solar flare activity follows an 11 year cycle.

Scientists have identified quite a few of these cycles ranging from hundreds of years to many thousands. The orbits of the planets continuously move the center of mass of the solar system, which in turn effects the rotational inertia of the sun.

These cycles will align or miss-align in ways that cause long term and short term global temperature fluctuations. Some pretty convincing science indicates that Earth is likely to enter a short term cooling cycle shortly (5 to 50 years).

I believe the Socialist global warming elite know this and that is why you are seeing this mad rush to "prove" global warming now, because, after spending 25 years of investment in blaming mankind to get Socialistic measures, they must be perceived as having stopped it or it will take them another 25 years to prove that mankind is responsible for "global cooling".

Probably. They're much like the Muslims that way. I wonder - is that a sign of a bad philosophy, the failure to perceive irony?

Global warming sounds like another way to spend our taxpayer money. I am so tired of hearing these people have no money to spend. Well, where is it?

"The film "An Inconvenient Truth" with Al Gore, powefully portrays the argument we must respond to global climate change"

For those that are MISSING IT, NOTE, algore and "An Inconvenient Truth" STARTED as a diatribe against GLOBAL WARMING..since the moonbats simply can't reconcile the frigid weather we're currently having with his theory, the term has changed from GLOBAL WARMING to GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE (as noted in the above note from the university)..NOW the cold weather can be blamed on this climate change and the left doesn't miss a beat..

Hehehe. They'll reschedule it for July. Every time the media starts the new-year global warming blitz, the winter storm of the century hits.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if they used the term "Global Warming" in the summer and "Global Climate Change" in the winter.

It doesn't matter to me why they don't get it as long as it brings a smile to me. They never fail to deliver.

I have said this before.
Liberals seem to have a God complex.
They reject God in traditional terms.
They embrace the EARTH as Holy, and claim power over the EARTH.
Ergo they perceive themselves as God like at their core.

They Have the ability to create Utopia on Earth therefore Heaven is unnecessary.
