There is always a solid factual foundation and much research underlying AC's verbal pyrotechnics.
Witness, her complete dissemblage of the McCarthyism hysteria (a foundational tall tale of leftist dogma), as well as the compact Cliff Notes version of the problems with the Church of Evolution.
Tone is a matter of taste. I sometimes enjoy being entertained while being educated.

She may have an edge that cuts a few people too deep, but I haven't known her to be wrong. Pretty much ever.
She is great at what she does..... she is concise, witty, and very effective. She also makes me laugh which is a plus when discussing politics.
If they can have Al Franken and Michael Moore we should have more Ann.

Fitzpatrick yearns for the good old days in the '50s and '60s when the "conservative movement" was an intellectual exercise enjoyed by the few subscribers to National Review and the academic journals he mentions. He wants conservatism to be an exclusive club.
He finally acknowledges that, even with all the non-purists and popularizers (Rush, Ann, Sean, etc.), no one is prevented from reading the foundation literature. Duh!
I wish we had a hundred more just like her!
Ann showed her courage in exposing the lies of left supporting socialism and twisting reality to make McCarthy out as a villain rather than a hero in his time.
Her deep insight that drives the Dems nuts has been especially important in identifying the unassailable spokesperson ploy that the Left has used to silence the truth and the facts of a situation. The Jersey Girls, Murtha, and even Michael J. Fox who was used fairly successfully to attack Rush this phenomena is close to have jumped the Shark due to Ann. Rush would have been screwed by the Fox trap except Ann's book gave Conservatives a means of understanding how they were being played.
Thank God for Ann Coulter.

I have always liked Ann. She is witty, well-informed, and makes slashing, rapid-fire assaults on her foes - like a verbal strafing run.
Beauty, brains, and talent in one tidy package.

Yes, she is, you need people who will upset the applecart from time to time. You need bomb throwers who can be intellectual as well.
Sometimes she may be over the top, but someone has to leave the and do battle eventually.
I would love to answer that question -- GWB has made me realize the full extent to which I am conservative, and that is a good thing. GWB has done much to leave conservatives wondering where the Republican party has gone without them, and that is not a good thing.
Her endorsement of Mitt carries a whole heck of a lot more weight with me--then virtually any other pundit's or politician's endorsement.
She has a crush on Mitt, methinks.
