Should Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi be given an Air Force 757 to commute to her district in San Francisco?
No. Her predecessor was given a 12-seat jet and that was probably too much. I guess global warming only counts for some people.

Interesting page note from the paper from 1960-61:

Shortly after the Nixon's motorcade continued on, 12-year-old Richard Waggoner ran up to the VP and handed him a bouquet of flowers. Nixon took a silver pen out of his pocket and gave it to the boy. It was inscribed "Vice Pres. R. Nixon."
Meanwhile Sen. John F. Kennedy died at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown on Oct. 28 and was given a torch light parade throught the town by the local Democrats. The next day he made a campaign appearance the in Lawrence Park Shopping Center in Marple.
