Does this mean all those judges that were filibustered were actually confirmed if the vote was more than a majority in favor of cloture?

Is this lying sack of sh*t referring to the cloture vote which failed and left the debate going on? My understanding is that no definitive vote was taken on any resolution -- Democrat or Republican. Am I right? Is Reid lying, again?

Will someone please explain to me how sending in reinforcements and instituting new oversight over the campaign in Iraq isn't a new direction?
Or is this another retarded, meaningless phrase employed by our traitors in the Democratic Party?

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid released the following statement on today's vote in the United States Senate in which a bipartisan majority voted against President Bush's flawed plan to escalate the war. Escalation is up to the enemy. Are they against escalating their activites?

"This war is too important to permit Senate Republicans to brush it aside." No you little piece of sh!t. This war is too important to just give up and pull out.
To: broncoholic
As for the Republicans who chose once again to block further debate and protect President Bush, the American people now know they support the escalation
Let me fix this. We now know who supports America and who supports terrorists.

Of course, I too believe that Senator Reid has given up on the possibility that American forces can win in Iraq with the proper support. I'll even go so far as to say he's allowing his political affiliation and friends in Washington dictate how he lead the new majority in the Senate. But I won't swear at him, and I won't say he's a bad American.
Besides, he technically right. A majority of 56 Senators today essentally voted against the President's plan to 'escalate' the war. Of course, while you and I believe it's a), not 'flawed' as Reid does, and b) Bush did it to win rather than 'escalate' the war; he's still technically right. I'd rather attack the majority (especially the minority within that majority... THOSE seven republicans) than Reid, who will never change anyway.
There have been characters like Reid in American politics since there's been... well, American politics. They've been proven wrong by history, and I've no doubt that Reid will as well. But save the language and the hate for sites like the Daily KOS, and Democratic Underground. Besides, they're better at blind rage than we are anyway.
