Reid and Pelosi know that the Iraq War IS indeed winable.
Just look at the changes happening in Bagdad as the surge ramps up.Mookie Al Sad'r is on the run into a spider hole in Iran. Bush is rattling his saber at Iran, and indeed he should.
Reid and Pelosi do not want a REPUBLICAN to win the war in Iraq. That would mean that a Democrat president would NOT win in 2008.
The job of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi is to ensure that only a Democrat president wins the war in Iraq after 2008, at the risk of the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands of American soldiers and thousands of Iraqis.
Reid and Pelosi mean to pave the path to a Democrat Presidency with the blood and bones of American Soldiers and Iraqis.
Reid and Pelosi should be branded for the treasonous lame brains they really are:
Their political hatred of Republicans, spittle splashing cultural war pronouncements, and a lust for political power while damning all consequences, has placed the Democrat party beyond the pale. They are essentially UNAMERICAN. They divide our nation.
Pelosi and Reid deserve the very best flaying in public that can be given.
The time to start is NOW!

You say you support the troops, but that has to be a lie. If you supported them and you truly think the war is wrong, you'd bring them home or either dispense with the poisonous rhetoric and get in behind them and help them get the job done. You can't have it both ways.

God Bless you, Charlie. All I can say about the Democrats' and RINOs is our ancestors would be ashamed of them. They're cowards who don't have the courage... no they don't have principles, convictions or stands that matter. The sole reason for their opposition to the War is that its now unpopular. But just yesterday they ALL voted for it. I can't think much of craven politicians driven by expedient calculation. Nor do they have a plan to deal with what would ensue if God forbid, they succeed in driving this country to defeat. I could respect them if they did what they thought was right, even if that was a mistake. I would believe they have the country's best interests at heart. By deciding to oppose the commitment of more troops yet funding them, the opponents of this war look like double-faced hypocrites. Which they are. The outcome of the votes in Congress is reflective of our Seinfeld Party whose politics is essentially driven by nothing.
