Hillary has a pair of stones.

It obviously works with some people, or should I say sheeple. If that's how he pushes for a different strategy and shows his presidential "credentials", again I say that he has extremely poor judgement. The only thing he may have accomplished was to prolong things.

McRudney is already sunk, in my book.

Hey, McCain, we know you have people lurking here...
Stuff like this doesn't help you or anybody else. Rummy does deserve some generous criticism, but to shoot your mouth off like this and make him out to be worse than your buddy MacNamara is kind of... well...
insane.

Why I won't be voting for McCain?
He's a weasel and not a hell of a lot different from Hillary. Anyone who believes he won't bend with the wind and pander to the shrieking moonbats in the final stretch is as crazy as he is.

I wouldnt have voted for the crazy nutbag to begin with, but certainly it shows he has a proclivity for stabbing folks in the back.

OK I'll take your word for it and thank you and all the guys on the front lines.
Still Rummy and others never countered CNN's claim.
More important, what are we disagreeing upon? All I am saying is that big changes and shifts in approach were needed well before November 2006.

Yeah, Rumsfeld personally carried wounded out of the Pentagon on 911 - he's also got a great track record on Afghanistan and the original liberation of Iraq. McCain is a back stabbing jerk. I really am not a fan of his at all.
To: bilhosty
In no way do I mean to promote McCain but on this one he is right. The Neo-con argument that Iraq could be a Democracy I always thought was ludicrous from the beginning. Rumsfeld's major mistake was going in with to few troops so now 6 years later we have to have a "surge" after it is probably to late(to late means trying to win the war in the next 2 years before the Dem's takeover and pull the plug). Just because it's the truth doesn't mean McCain should say it. </sarc>

Never said McCain should not say it. I am just saying I do not like McCain and support another candidate. But, he is right here.
