SORRY BUDDY BUT NYC IS NOT A TURD BOWL! I suspect you've never been there - or have been there before Rudy was mayor.
Been there many times and it's not a model for the rest of America, by any means. Yes, even when Rudy was mayor.
Those of us in flyover country don't appreciate the abrogation of our Second Amendment rights nor the influx of illegals. Rudy is content with both (and worse).
No thanks. He may have been YOUR mayor, but he was never "America's Mayor".
I take it back and apologize for insulting NYC.
While I disagree with many/most public policies of that city, I've been treated well during all my visits.
My real problem is the voters of NYC that constantly put the likes of Schumer, Clinton, Bloomberg and yes, even Rudy, in office and position them to inflict these measures on the rest of us.
But, I will stand by my assertion that New York values are not America's values. We can do better than Rudy and, hopefully, we will.
