Dear Friend,
Dick Cheney is still linking Democrats with terrorist priorities.
During a press interview in Tokyo, the vice president said, "'I think if we were to do what Speaker Pelosi and Congressman Murtha are suggesting, all we will do is validate the al-Qaida strategy... The al-Qaida strategy is to break the will of the American people ... try to persuade us to throw in the towel and come home, and then they win because we quit."
What is it that Speaker Pelosi and Congressman Murtha are really suggesting? Stopping the escalation. Changing the course. Bringing our brave young men and women home.
That's not breaking the will of the American people -- it's representing it.
I've never been more committed to building a Democratic Party that will put an end to this sort of nonsense once and for all. In all 50 states, we're building an infrastructure to combat smears just like this. If you're as fired up as I am, channel it into something constructive.
Donate to the Democratic Party and show Dick Cheney that his insults only make us stronger.
http://www.democrats.org/cheney Dick Cheney doesn't speak for the American people. He still believes that the pre-war intelligence justifies the decisions made by a broken administration, even as it desperately attempts to save any credibility after a failed war.
The House has already passed an overwhelming vote of no-confidence in the president's escalation plan last week. And now Senate Republicans are using every trick they can come up with to make sure that the same thing doesn't happen in the Senate.
Meanwhile, Cheney and his Republican allies in Congress have decided that name-calling is the best strategy in these troubled times. Cheney himself still stands by his disgraced chief of staff, Scooter Libby. Bush's sympathizers simply don't have anything else to offer.
Democrats do.
It's time to re-double our efforts to build a Party that will restore true debate and democracy to our country. Take a moment to give what you can today:

Dick Cheney's time is almost over. Let's show him that we're getting ready to take over. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Governor Howard Dean, M.D.
I was floored by the bit about them being committed to building a infrastructure to "combat smears"...
Good Lord, shouldn't they be thinking about the NATIONAL DEFENSE?
What a twit, he is so worried about being called names he doesn't mention the defense of the NATION as one of his party's objectives.
It may be "hate speech" but, I HATE Howard Dean.
The former governor was a regular (for comic purposes, apparently)on Canadian television. The program moderator would throw Dean a softball and his head would just open up like a volcano...
Problem is the RAT party are playing right into the hands of the terrorists. They may not be sympathizers but they are sure subject to the wishes of the terrorists. Sadly, the demorats continue to propagate their stupidity with the help of the old media, which is, in fact, an organization sympathetic to the terrorists.
Dear Howard,
Yes you are. You are invested in defeat. You own defeat. You want America to lose soooo bad you can taste it. You want to re-live the glory days of the Democrat Party of the mid to late-70's, when America was weak, impotent, had triple-digit unemployment and inflation, and were pushed around by every pipsqueak, 3rd rate dictator who wanted to.
P.S. I do question your patiotism.
STFU Howie, you ARE a terrorist sympathizer, because you would rather see America defeated in the war on terror so you and your fellow 'Rats might exploit such a disaster for your own political gain.
You're a lying sonuvab!tch Howie, and you have no loyalty to anyone or anything except for the 'Rat agenda of gaining evermore power on top of power, as long as you are at or near the top of that power structure.
You think Americans are going to sit idly by while you and your gang of traitors do to America and the world what your political ancestors did in 1975 when they stabbed our ally South Vietnam in the back so that Communism would win in Southeast Asia?
You better think again, you POS.
Democrats are saying that our people don't have the will to fight this war. They are dead wrong. It's the Democratic Party that doesn't have the will to fight. This in itself is interesting because whenever there is an election, all they ever talk about is "fight". This word is used in every speach they give. I've never seen any organization that uses this word..."fight"....more or as much as they do. I would hate to see them in power in the Whitehouse during an attack on this country. They would surely cut and run with a yellow stripe on their backs.
The VP was not discussing how Dean or his supporters would view our leaving Iraq, he was talking about how al Quaeda and other Islamists would view it.
Dean blithely ignores this and makes absolutely no attempt to refute what Cheney actually said.
Very sad.
bump
"we're building an infrastructure to combat smears just like this."
To the Democrats, the only struggle is between them and the Republicans. They're in total denial about the war on terror, and have forgotten and forgiven 9/11. They know that if they realistically confront the threat of Islam, they have to confront the reality of war, and they're far too frightened to do that.
These dims are always looking for a donation..Thats whats on top of their agenda
Yes Howie, that is the definition being a weak-kneed sissy, and allowing the terrorist scum to win.
Donate to the Democratic Party and show Dick Cheney that his insults only make us stronger.
Bwwaahhahaha..... If you're pissed at Dick Cheney, give us all your money.
Governor Dean? He was elected, not granted land and title, I thought we left that practice in England. How about "former Governor Dean"? "Wisely replaced Governor Dean", I like "Failed Presidential hopeful, Howard Dean"
They let Howard out of the asylum finally?
