Yes. Prayers
Folks ought to be prepared for tornado season - get batteries for the radio, a flashlight, etc.
I posted a couple of tornado advisories earlier this week (one got moved to "Chat").
assuming they saw this coming...storm was moving at 50 MPH and likley was rainwrapped
True. Just trying to add some hope.
Winds in current thunderstorms approaching 100 mph, NOT the tornado itself.
Thanks for the local reports.
Prayers up!
I thought about a bad tornado that come thru Texas years back. A grocery store was hit and that is where the manager took people.
Any confirmation of the cars in trees?
I didn't see "Reel Politics" but I think it's interesting that McCuddy has done an expose of the political idiocy of the Hollywood Left ... my son is refusing to believe that Johnny Depp is a Castro-lover. He'll grow up, yet.
In another hour and a half it will push out of our State, heading into MS..(Tunica Casino area)..

Trees that fell on cars?
Heavy rains and high winds moving through Arkansas today caused multiple injuries and property damage in Dumas.
State police spokesman Bill Sadler says the winds cut about a five-mile swath of damage, about a half-mile wide, from a Mad Butcher store on Highway 65 in the south Arkansas town to the intersection of Highway 159.
Sadler had no additional details on the number of people hurt or the nature of the injuries. He said some residents were unaccounted for and police were making a door-to-door search.
A power substation was destroyed and electricity was out in the area.
State police were setting up a command post in the town and seeking additional ambulance service from nearby Lincoln County. Troopers also closed the northbound lane of Highway 65 heading into the city.
