What to do about it?
Excellent post, Jim. We must never give up the fight against socialism. Giuliani will not lead us down the right path.
And what will it take to awaken the people to the reality of our peril from within?... Sadly, it is beyond possible because half of the people are now purposely tied up in hating the current administration ... a planned diversion, btw.
It indoctrinates each new generation with socialist propaganda and dogma, divides and conquers by setting political factions against one another.

Just witnessing the Gubinator of late is proof of that, even as he cries for unity.. in the end, socialists come with many stripes and in many forms, and are neither respectors of parties nor their followers.. and have one agenda only in mind, all for the common good, of course.
If you look at NYC pre guiliani and compare it to NYC post guiliani, I can say I would not have thought the transformation possible. Rudy was a miracle worker in NYC. He did more than I in my wildest dreams thought possible for NYC to become.
Terrorism is a tactic, not the enemy that is trying to destroy us. Until we can honestly identify the enemy there's not a lot of hope to defeating it.
I think its important to keep making this point.
Whether we win or lose in Iraq, whether we elect Obama or Giuliani or Hunter or Clinton, the war will continue. The question isn't "if" there will be war, the question is whether we will meet it defensively or actively, will we be led by competent clear-eyed leadership, will we be misled by the cowardly, the deluded, the corrupt. We get to choose in part how and where we respond to war, but we do not get to decide whether there will be war. We are facing probably two decades of war going forward, like it or not. That decision was made by our enemies.
Definition of Socialism from my OLD, copyright 1965, dictionary:
socialism: n. 1. any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.
2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property
2 b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3 a: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.
We have been hearing the words "unequal distirbution" from CONgre$$critter$ far too often for my comfort.
You brought this pic up in a previous thread."
Not me
I thought I'd ask.
We already see a lot of this going on in America
Powerful post Jim.
JimRob 08!
How about vouchers?
Do Socialists cut taxes?
Do Socialists cut the size of government?
Would a Socialist threaten to defund a public institution that was promoting a blasphemous and pornographic piece of "art" portraying the Virgin Mary?
How about doing whatever could be done, to get GOVERNMENT out of hospitals?
Wouldn't a Socialist want MORE people on welfare, not less? And would one also be against making able bodied welfare recipients work for what they got?
Doesn't socialism promote quotas and affirmative action and open admission to colleges?
Gee, then Rudy can't be a Socialist after all.
The definition of socialism : a theory or system of social organization which advocates the vesting of the ownership or control of the means of production, capital, land, etc. in the community as a whole.
