Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin isn't the only cute little girl to have made a media splash lately. Canada has seven-year-old Gillian Wiley, another adorable moppet, who is being promoted by eco-warrior David Suzuki as the star of his "If I Were Prime Minister" campaign...
Mr. Suzuki's favourite candidate so far is little Gillian. She delivers the message that if she were living on Sussex Drive, she would make some big changes "so that we don't destroy the planet with fossil fuels and carbon dioxide." She castigates SUVs, wants to stop the tar sands, and tells the camera that "Kyoto is not enough." This Littlest Pigovian wants to "institute a carbon tax right away."
Gillian is very obviously reading from a cue card. Only the final words of her message might possibly be her own: "If I were Prime Minister," she laughs, as if wanting to shake off all this forced earnestness, "I'd have blue hair."
Her performance was featured on Global News. Explaining why she did it, she points out, with admirable candour, that it was because her father had told her that afterward they could work on her cardboard castle. Her Dad, Keith, confesses the obvious: that he wrote her script, but he points out that he did it for her, and we should not doubt his good intentions.
Abigail is asked by the television reporter if she really does want to be Prime Minister when she grows up. "No," she states firmly. As for her hopes for the earth's future, she says: "A planet with no poisons, and," she concludes, with a slight hesitation--as if she really is smart enough to know that she's not sure what she's talking about -- "carbon dioxide."

Good grief ping!
The left has literally struck gold with this global warming hysteria. It's not a coincidence that the proposed solutions to the purported crisis seem to be fully aligned with the age-old control agenda of the anti-humans.
PING!
Actually, it's more like they "struck crystal-meth". They are generally wacky but with Gore-bull warming they've gone absolutely stark raving bonkers!
The one that gets to me is the latest attempt by the nurses union to get a "single payer" plan adopted by the state.
During their commercial, they use only children who are commenting on health care. There's this one tiny little girl who says in a sassy tone, "don't even get me started on healthcare". If she belonged to me she'd have her mouth popped, and a lecture about sassy mouth speech.
What good is a carbon tax? How does it stop "global warming"?
I did; it would be cute and laughable if the child abusing producers weren't so serious.
I thought a mind was a terrible thing to waste.
It's all the same: turn out the lights; use twice and flush once; turn down the thermostat; walk, don't drive.
It doesn't, it just feels good to play in the sand.
"Global Meth'ers"
Thats my new word contribution to the world for 2007. "GM's" are same as crystal meth folks...except they can't get off their daily required dose of global warming. They can't hang out with real people. And they can't live in a real world.
They considered taking obese children away from their parents as abuse. Liberals abusing their children psychologically is much more perverse.
This reminds me of that other little brat that was on Youtube going off on a rant. Maybe they are cousins. I don't think theres anything cute about using little children like this. Shame on the parents.
The other little brat on global warming. This one is a mean nasty evil little horror.

How will their mothers get them to eat their spinach now?
I was watching The 1/2 Hour News Hour and had to endure the "Tick" PSA from stopglobalwarming.org. I think that's just as bad as the Canadian deal.
yes, I can...and I can do without brainwashed little anarchists preaching to me about something they are far to young to know anything about.
