I've been sick all week, hacking away, and not getting much sleep. I might as well be doing something instead of just laying there awake.
You and me both. Can't smell or taste and can hardly breathe. Not used to being sick even though I live in the northeast.
Oh, and add to that can't hear much but a ringing sound.... plugged up tight.
Me too for about 5 weeks now. Was getting much better then overdid myself with kiln loading.
Don't like to go on antibiotic as it blunts my already blunted immune system more. Doing herbal stuff which works better now that I've got the doses up more. Hate being laid so low so long.
ZICAM at least keeps the throat and nose clear or mostly so. But the chest is so far a roller coaster.
Please let me know if you find something that dramatically helps.
Have found Mucinex DM good.
Robitussin anticough etc. and Delsym anticough have been helpful though the latter didn't work one night. Is much more potent than the Robitussin but had to go back to the Robitussin that night. Don't know what was going on with that.
Dr. diagnosed bronchitis, and since I'm a paraplegic,I'm highly susceptible, so she put me on some heavy duty antibiotics.
It's been 2 weeks of mostly sleeping all day and I'm just starting to feel better.
I'm ready for spring to come to PA.
