The full article is quite good.
There are several protected classes in the USA. There are several thousand words that conservatives are forbidden to say, but liberals can say without fear of retribution.
What is amounts to is that any time any member of a protected class says that he/she/it was offended by anything that a conservative said, did, thought, or thought of thinking, the conservative is given a severe xxx-reaming.

Coulter utters the new f-word I don't see anything wrong with calling them "faggots."
She could have called them "queers."

It isn't on the approved list. Could someone please post the approved speech list? I was going to ask for the list of 'words that will get you sent to rehab", but I think the approved speech list is shorter and shrinking every day.
Sorry about the multitude of Ann pings lately, but this effort to send anyone to re-education camp who dares stray from the PC reservation has got to stop!
Let me know if you'd like to be added to the Ann Coulter ping list.

Denounce wasn't too strong a word. The difference is they denounced what she said, not her. Personally I think you can't really separate a person from what comes out of their mouths (or from what they do) as though these are two (or three) separate entities. So give yourself a break. The other poster is just trying to win the argument with silly word-play.

I don't know if you listen to talk radio, but Hannity, Rush, and probably most others never mention the homosexual agenda being pushed on the kids. It's extremely frustrating. You're right. I hadn't really noticed. I wonder if thats out of fear of the homomafia?

Don't bother... many here are under the delusion that Duncan Hunter is going to somehow defend Ann for calling Sen. Edwards a faggot. Of course, when the good gentleman properly distances himself they'll call him a spineless Rino traitor who has no place on their party.
Not.

Leftists have this preconceived notion about conservatives that we're all "bigots" or "racists" and try to read that into any comment made,
but God Himself forbid if a "liberal" utters something anti-American or anti-Military and we call them on it (because it IS a given that "liberals" are both) - "It was a botched joke!"

The Romney spokesman said, "It was an offensive remark. Governor Romney believes all people should be treated with dignity and respect. Really? All people? Rapists? Pedophiles? Cannibals?

I didn't want to post the entire article because Free Republic seems to encourage people to posts excerpts and maybe I'll save some of the internet mag's bandwidth in the process.

Did Edwards come out of the closet or something? Honestly, I don't think her remark is even remotely funny because it doesn't really makes any sense. If he was gay, then it would be funny. Since he isn't, it sounds like typical Coulter shrillness. I don't know why people like her so much.

Gay men have done a very good job of feminising themselves - to the point that if one of them came on to you, and you beat him up - it would be akin to beating up a woman. I was in a pub with my girlfriend and this overtly gay dude said some really nasty stuff to her - stuff that would get a straight guy punched out. But if I had stood up for her any more than I did, I would've been charged with a hate crime.
So now, we're stuck in a world where gays can do anything they want and get away with it, no matter how heinous. They can say awful disgusting things to our wives, ourselves, our children, and we men can't do a damned thing about it without risking jail time. Yet if we call them what amounts to a sticks and stones name like fag, all of a sudden we're demons!
To: Stepan12
Does this mean we have to use it excessively until the people are desensitized to it, just like the old f-word? Then we can look for the new new f-word?

A well written article, thanks for posting this.
Looks like gays get the same rights as muhammed. If you mock him or them you may be prosecuted. Does this mean that gays and terrorists are similar?

Indeed, the homosexuals in virtually every one of these films and TV shows are smarter, funnier, hipper and more humane than the heterosexual characters. That revolting boy from "Ugly Betty" comes to mind. Why did they have to do that?
