There has been a lot of attention paid on the web and on talk radio to this audio clip of Hillary Clinton affecting a Southern accent addressing a rally in Selma, AL yesterday. Not the same rally Barack Obama spoke at, though. A seperate but equal rally, of course.
It appears that Hillary has a problem with getting carried away when addressing an audience. The woman who claims she was "always a Yankee fan" despite growing up in suburban Chicago, is going to have quite a problem, if she campaigns for the next 18 months. Who knows what other accents she will affect? Will her harridan-voice become a familiar tone when audiences wildly applaud and she tries to talk over them?
It is looking to me as though she has a real problem with authenticity.
Nice ankles and ample breasts are a welcome addition.
This has to be the most embarrasing, disgusting, and bizarre clip I've ever heard of her. What, in the hell, was she trying to do?? Sound black, sound southern, sound like she's had a long hard-suffering life, and she can identify with all of the "lowly" people there?
Seriously, I just can't get over this one, it makes my skin crawl! Is she sane??
I heard a snippet of this on Rush's show today. I actually felt embarrassed for her.
