Liberals Have the Mentality of Kindergarteners, Comedian Says

Liberals are wrong about everything and have the mentality of kindergarteners, in the view of conservative comedian and commentator Evan Sayet.

"The Democrats are wrong on quite literally every issue," Sayet said at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., on Monday. "They are not just wrong. They are as wrong as wrong can be.

"It's not just domestic policy. It's foreign policy. It's every policy," he said, adding that liberals are "diametrically opposed to that which is good, right and successful."

"The modern liberal will invariably side with evil over good, wrong over right, and the behaviors that lead to failure over those that lead to success," Sayet said.

I think in the case of this article, he was speaking as a commentator, as the title suggests. It says comedian and commentator. None of those things are funny, but the libs create many humorous moments because of those qualities.

Even less so considering that about half the voters in this country will simply continue to vote they way they do.

Now that is very true and that is not funny.

Apparently, he hangs with people who have the mentality of fourth graders.

No better observation of the modern "liberal"...

There is a dichotomy on the left - the "take care of me" sheep "liberals", and the "we know best" shepherd "liberals" -

neither are interested in the true freedom, ie, classical (real) liberalism that our founders believed in.

How compassionate would it be to never let a child learn to walk?

That is what liberalism teaches by insisting that people are incapable of surviving without the government carrying them from cradle to grave. (And therefore maintaining power and control over them.)

Their mantra is "It's somebody elses fault!"

The conservative eagerly teaches the child to walk, run, think, create, initiate, produce to the limits of the child's abilities.

Conservative's mantra "You and you alone are responsible for your position in life." "Your life is what YOU make it!"

OK. Break it down. Who are the people who support the Libs.

1) The poor. Liberalism promises money for nothing. Yes, they are stupid to believe that, but greed is their motivating factor. The evil greed, not the desire to earn one's way and keep the rewards for your own use.

Liberalism works for them, at least in the short-term and for the first in line.

2) The politicians. I think we agree, here so I won't say more.

3) Those that suck on the government teats such as bureaucrats, educators, subsidized artists, whore scientists after the grant, etc. Again greed. The evil greed.

4) The glitterati such a Babs Streisand, and Algore, and the rest, who use liberal nostrums such as the "green" or "animal rights" movements to
A)reduce the numbers of the "great unwashed" and
B)increase the separation between them and us
until "A" can be accomplished.

My personal opinion is that the entire global warming fiasco is about saving the beach houses of the rich.

Yeah, I agree, the rank and file are stupid, ignorant, or both. Not just intellectually, but also emotionally.

But you know what they say about conning an honest man? You can't do it. The rank and file are evil, too. I come reluctantly to this conclusion, but I have finally come to it. They do what they do for selfish reasons, only, no matter what they tell themselves, and us.

Money for nothing.

Socialism is great, until you run out of other peoples money.

Sorry I don't know whose quote that is.

He's so right. I think that to think like a liberal, you either have to be very selfish or very ignorant.

I had the pleasure of seeing his act at CPAC last week, and also got to meet and talk to him at some length.

His comedy is both funny and intelligent. It goes beyond just calling lefties names to get in the press.

This was the second time that I have seen him (he came to a FReeper rally in DC earlier this summer), both times I went away thinking to myself, "I never thought of that".

If you have the opportunity to catch his act, you won't regret it.

Exactly. Frankly, I don't see any real contradiction between liberals are stupid, and liberals are evil. I think they can be both at the same time.

I'm not even sure the smartest of them have any real intelligence, just a certain stylish cunning, that see ways to obtain their foul objectives.

I don't know if you noticed, or not. I really don't like the progressive agenda. And, in honor of this thread, I am going to change my tagline with this post. If I remember how it is done.

TO ALL:

I am EVAN SAYET and I gave this address yesterday at the Heritage Foundation. Allow me to make some things clear.

1) I am BOTH a comedian and a serious lecturer. This take was a serious speech on "how Modern Liberals 'Think.'"

2) I sometimes get sloppy and say "Democrats" and even "liberals" when I mean specifically MODERN LIBERALS.
I explain it all in the talk which can be found at www.heritage.org.

There is a word for a Democrat with a mentality above that of a five year old...it's "Republican" as anyone who matures morally and intellectually passed the age of five quickly becomes a Republican and continues to learn and grow.

Me too, around a year ago, after trying to think otherwise for many years. Your post is comforting, as I often think that I must be overreacting.

I wouldn't say that liberals have the mentality of kindergartners. There are some pretty bright kindergartners.

I also note that in the counterpoint, the reviewer calls Evan a name twice, makes one sweeping generalization with no justification, then calls the President and Vice-President a name. He doesn't address any of Evan's points.

He could have just as well stuck his fingers in his ears and said, "Meanie, Meanie, Meanie. Na, Na, Na. I'm not listening. Na, Na, Na".

I saw your speech on the Web site and downloaded it to my Ipod (I hope I'm not violating any copyright provisions by doing that!). Your speech was absolutely superb. It was well-reasoned, presented with clarity and wit, and insightful. I intend to share it with my friends. Bravo and congratulations.
