The latest Gathering Of Eagles Video. GREAT!
Watch it here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coRz44cVE4E
And then pass it along to all your friends!
Any estimates on how many will be there on behalf of "Gathering Eagles"?
I hope it is enough to drown out Hanoi Jane and her pinko-commie cohorts. Absolutely disgusting the way they defile the memory of our war dead.
Thousands!
Sadly ,probably only around 100 will show up I am guessing.
And more disgusting is their encouragement and glee at the death of our current warriors.

And your reasoning behind your guess is what, exactly?

Number of posts on this and other sites saying they are going. Numbers of MAF participants so far. Historical precedents showing low numbers for rallies. The lack of mention on sites such as myspace (college age students would the ones more likely to show up as they have less job constraints). I think 'thousands' is a vast overestimate.
That said, I will be there.
Post #7 indicates a good turnout.
I'll be in Ohio at an NRA shooting competition.
Take lots of pics for us if you can!
You couldn't be more wrong. This is growing by the minute!
Then I will be "One of one hundred."
Motivational ping!
I'll be there too. And there's gonna be a lot more than 100 people there.
I am leaving from south jersey early on the 17 to be down in DC by 7 am anyone know of anyone who needs a ride?
FYI: be careful of the parking, as there will be virtually none near the wall. your best bet would be to park at one of the metro stops (Pentagon City has 2 decks), and then metro it in.
Estimated head counts on bus traffic alone is above that number.
That's great news! No head counts of MAF site yet (that I could find at least). Where are you tracking from?
We are driving up from Houston to participate in the march on 3-17.
If you are attending the march, please go the their website and sign in.

I've been on the forum from the get go. I have tried to put our group milblog up on supporters but it never gets listed.
Probably only around 100? I don't think so. Not this time, FRiend. :)
Ping to #28.
Looks Great!!!
We are chartering a bus from Maine..
There will be 50 on that bus alone..
Ms.B
You two might want to check out the youtube promo video for Gathering of Eagles, if you haven't already.

I've found that Live Leak seems to be a gathering point for great vids of support. Good post.

A VETERAN IS EVERY MAN GROWN UP A LITTLE TALLER-A PERSON
UNDERSTANDS THE ACT OF FREEDOM.
JUSTICE AND DEMOCRACY HIS MONO IS TO LIVE AND
LET LIVE. BUT IF HE HAD TO, IF HE HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN
SERVITUDE AND CONFLICT A VETERAN WOULD ONCE AGAIN ANSWER A
A CALL TO DUTY. AMERICAS WAR VETERANS COME IN A WIDE VARIETY OF SIZES, SHAPES AND AGES. THEIR COLLECTIVE EXPERIENCE SPANS TWO WORLD WARS AND SEVERAL FOREIGN CONFLICTS.
THEY HAVE FOLLOWED WAR MULES THROUGH FLANDERS FIELD, DROPPED FROM LANDING BARGES ONTO THE BEACHES OF NORMANDY, FACED THE ICY COLD OF PORKCHOP HILL, TRUDGED RICE PADDIES OF THE MEKONG DELTA, WALKED THE SANDS OF THE MIDDLE EAST,SUFFERED THE GULF WAR AND KUWAIT AND NOW THE IRAQ AREA FROM KUWAIT THROUGH BAGDAD AND STILL TRYING TO COMPLETE THE MISSION IN ORDER TO CREATE FREEDOM.
BUT REGARDLESS OF DIFFERENCES IN MAKEUP AND EXPERIENCE,
ALL VETERANS SHARE A COMMON BOND-A BROTHERHOOD OF MEMORY
AND HARD-WON WiSDOM THAT HELPS DEFINE THEIR CHARACTER.
A VETERAN IS THE FIRST MAN UP AS THE FLAG PASSES BY ON
4TH OF JULY, AND THE LAST ONE DOWN FOR HE HAS BEEN A
WITNESS THE BLOOD AND TEARS THAT MAKE PARADES POSSIBLE.
A VETERAN IS A MAN OF PEACE, SOFT SPOKEN, SLOW TO ANGER,
QUICK TO REALIZE THAT ThOSE WHO TALK MOST ABOUT THE GLORY
OF WAR ARE ThOSE WHO KNOW LEAST ABOUT ITS HORROR. HE NEVER
JOKES ABOUT WAR; HES BEEN THERE, AND STILL SEES ON
MEMORYS SCREEN THE WOUNDED AND THE DYING, THE WIDOWS AND
ORPHANS; HE KNOWS FIRST-HAND THAT NO WAR IS GOOD AND THAT
THE ONLY THING WORSE THAN WAR IS SLAVERY.
HE IS FRIEND TO ALL RACES OF MAN, BEGRUDGING NONE; HE
CARRIES WITH HIM THE KNOWLEDGE THAT IT IS NOT THE MAN WHO
IS THE ENEMY BUT ENSLAVEMENT AND FALSE IDEOLOGIES. THOSE
WHOM HE ONCE FACED ACROSS THE HOSTILE BATTLE LINES, HE NOW
ESTEEMS AS BROTHERS.
A VETERAN IS AT ONCE PROUD AND HUMBLE; PROUD OF THE FACT
THAT IN OVER 200 YEARS NO FOREIGN ENEMY HAS SET FOOT ON
AMERICAN SOIL; AND HUMBLE IN THE REALIZATION THAT MANY OF
HIS COMRADES WHO HELPED HIM MAKE THIS LOFTY AIM A REALITY,
NEVER RETURNED.
MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. A VETERAN LOVES FREEDOM. HE CAN
SPEND A WHOLE AFTERNOON DOING NOTHING JUST BECAUSE IT
SUITS HIM TO DO WHAT HE WANTS WITH HIS TIME. HE ALSO TAKES A PERSONAL PRIDE IN FREEDOM OF OTHERS IN MEN AND WOMEN
ATTENDING THE CHURCH OF THEIR CHOICE; IN FRIENDS VOTING HOW THEY CHOOSE; AND IN SLUMBER BECAUSE, ABOVE ALL ELSE-A VETERAN IS AN AMERICAN.
Flora....heart trumps professional...great job. Thank You
According to Michelle malkin's site, only about 700 people have committed to the G.O.E
Must be a Typo ... we've got that coming from my state alone!
