HONOLULU -- The violent attack on a military couple two weeks ago in Waikele is making national news.
A story about the road rage altercation is on the front page of Wednesday's USA Today under the headline: "Racial Tensions are simmering in Hawaii's Melting Pot."
Police arrested a Native Hawaiian man and his teenage son in the attack of the Caucasian couple after a fender bender in the Waikele Shopping Center parking lot.

Sounds like a hate crime to me. Oh, wait. Of course it isn't. White people can't be victims of hate crimes, they can only be the perperators.
My nephew briefly attended classes at Univ of Hawaii. He left early for family reasons, but he said straight out, "They hate all white people there."
Most don't know how the natives feel about "the howlies".
If they secede, wouldn't that result in less electoral votes for the pinkos?

Self-explanatory comment and expected after Bubba signed the 'apology' for annexing the islands.
Having gained this apology, the natives naturally start to feel justified wanting to push the invaders out, especially since the invaders acknowledged 'guilt' by apologizing.
This is precisely why it is a fool's errand to grant apologies for the acts of people who have already died. It obviously fixes nothing done in the past but does serve to inflame old hatreds in the decendants.
Doesnt matter that the natives think. We will never give up our strategic military bases and ports there.

That's the secondary consideration that people use for usinvading Iraq -- "well, whether they had WMDs or not , desposing a cruel dictator in Iraq was a valid reason for going in there". I disagree. The amount of threat that they posed to us is the only consideration for invading.

Not true, and I am at liberty and qualified to say as much. I was born and raised on O'ahu.
There is animosity, but there's animosity between races and cultures everywhere. Naturally, your nephew would feel that way. He was attending a public university. A LIBERAL public university where it being white is a stike against you(in any liberal university, really) with activists professors.
There are a lot of kind hearted Hawaiians in the islands. Furthermore, the unlawful actions by a few business men during the overthrow of the islands is nothing to celebrate.
