and we all know how that turned out.

Yeah, it was a dumb thing to do. Nevertheless, I find it interesting that the left is having hissy fits about it, when liberal Senators have called their fellow Senators that same name with nary a word from the leftists about it.

Yes. Yes. Sling the mud where reason fears to tread.

If ever there was a time to be "picky" it is now - or never! And Duncan Hunter brings with him well over 95% of what I want in a president. So GO, DUNCAN HUNTER!

I would love to be on the draft Fred Thompson ping list. For years I faulted Newt on his marital issues and then I started really listening to him talk and although I still think he is probably unelectable, wouldn't a Thompson/Newt ticket be inspiring?

>My concern is name recognition....find nobody who even knows who Hunter is...<

We cannot depend on the MSM, we, ourselves, must trumpet the superior qualities of Duncan Hunter by writing the RNC extolling our choice of this man for president; bringing up his name loud and often at Central Committee meetings and bridge clubs; by copying his speeches and distributing them to friends and neighbors, asking them to do the same; by calling talk shows asking that Mr. Hunter be interviewed by them; and by SENDING HIM MONEY. Word travels fast in small towns and close neighborhoods. We can do it!
:o)

A year out from the primaries, I can afford to be "picky".

Why should anyone feel it's necessary to jump on the MSM's bandwagon, and accept THEIR choice for OUR candidate?

I like Newt, but a Thompson/Sntorum ticket would be my choice.

You've been added to the Draft Fred Thompson ping list.

Santorum would suit me nicely too.

Gingrich needs to be removed from your list ( he has even more LIBERAL views and personal life than Rudy ) and the other nonentities are just that...NONENTITIES!

Thanks.
Just had cataract surgery, and I needed an eye chart.

Have you seen this thread on Rudy's marital history?

Sounds more like BJ Clinton. Seems the Rudy supporters are staying away.

Understandably, since there's really no defense for some of his behavior.

NOTHING is more important than the national defense and sound fiscal policy. My family's safety comes first, before any litmus test on where a candidate stands on social issues. In other words, I'd like to live in safety to spend my miniscule piece of the economic pie, before some terrorist (empowered by Democratic weakness) suicide bombs himself at the local mall.
